Executive Trainee----Reckitt Benckiser July 2012-onwards Job Responsibility To implement productivity improvement by optimizing the machines installed. To assess the maintenance cost involved in the manufacturing and develop methods to reduce the costs without compromising on quality as well as productivity. To check the condition of machines installed in the factory and implement commissioning or decommissioning of machines. Achievements Developed standard operating principles of Lizol Gravity Filler M/C, Dettol Soap Manufacturing + Packaging M/C, Veet Cream Tube filling M/c , Dettol Liquid Handwash Pouch Filling M/C and Harpic Bottle Filling M/C. Monitored the installation of Gravity Filler M/C and analyzed the problems faced during installation of M/C and developed their remedies for future use. Assessed the maintenance needs of the Soap Stamper M/C and proposed appropriate solutions in consultation with Production Manager.

Participated in NTPC Fly ash Challenge in which we had to develop an

innovative usage of fly ash coming out of power plants. The product we developed was fly ash based cement mixture ,which was found to be of the same standards as the commonly used cement. The Product got recognition from NTPC and was awarded with cash prize of Rs 4000 and a certificate verifying the product.
