The first Memer of the Family is an up and coming illustrator that specializes in art that motivates and inspires. She herself inspired by nature was looking for a habitat that would express the complexity and simplicity that excist in nature.

The Secong Member of the family the head of house is currently a bartender extraudenare. Having been in the field for 10 years he is currently brewing his own beer and is looking to initiate a line of products that will cater to the local brooklyn population.

Following her mothers steps this 5 year old girl loves the arts. Her favorite hobbies include, crafts, reading and painting.

The final member of the family is a 7 year old boy who enjoys watersports, he has always wanted to go on a fiching trip out at sea. He loves to swim and has been aquatic since the age of 4.

The first project by Bureau des Mesarchitectures on the left shows the use of a central stair core to create a link between the various containers. On the second project by Studio Force4 we can see the stacking of systems to create a dynamic habittat that would best fit in with the excisting landscape.

With These two projects and the analysis of excisting connections in container construction, i have decided that the implementation of an elevation structure component would allow for a dynamic interior that would be seperated by elevated planes defining the functional use of each area. Further the proposed elevation system would allow the winter sun to enter more fluidly. The third and final benefit to implementing a elevated system and components is that it would create dynamic ceilings that will be simple yet complex and would fit in to the mothers appreciation of nature and its simple complexity.

The pool area has been designed so that it may be used year round. The area includes a Sauna and storage areas for brewed beer that the Head of house wishes to send out as advertising.

The living room area is designed to that the family may gather around a fire during thw winter months. Further the placement of the Living room area has been considered to assure a fluid movement between interior and exterior area.

In these renderings we can see how the southern facade assist in the passage of natural light. The Modular elevation units connected are to be connected with shear studs to the concrete wrapped shipping containers whitch will allow for horizontal forces as to be settled.

The Kitchen Plan was designed using the existing container dimensions. A counter surface was place near the secondary entrance to assure that incoming goods can be easily put away. Toward the Pool entrance a closet area was added to give the family a place to pt towels and apparel that will ease there water experience and enjoyment. ---

Illustraor Office , here wee see the illustraors office that looks out into the Pacific street area. The Mother expressed her need to observe daily movement and activities of humanity. She states that what drives them also drives her. Everything she creates is inspired from this belief.

The master bathroom includes a double vanity and a tub jacuzzi. This mater bathroom is located at the top of the bathroom core that will act as a counterbalance to the forces ces excerted by the Metal structural panels and frame. This union will create an inverted catanary whitch will assure maximum loadbearing capacity.
