C:\OracleBI This folder is related to BI Server C:\OracleBIData This folder is related to Presentation Services (Here C drive is where OBIEE software is installed) In each folder we have Configuration files and Log files. Log files are information providers, nothing will change even if you delete or change the log files. Instanceconfig.xml This is an xml file because this is a front end toll (web based). We can create/find the web catalog file in this file. Web catalog Stores content created by OBI Answers requests, filters, OBIee Intelligence Dashboards Pages, and the iBots

Oracle BI Log files

(Path: C:\OracleBI\server\Log)

NQServer All the BI Server related information available in this file, example server start, stop, name of the repository loaded etc. Problems related BI Server will be shown in this log file. NQSAdminTool Administration related issues can shown in this log file NQQuery Query related issues can be shown in this log file NQScheduler Scheduler related issues can be shown in this log file Oracle BI Data Log file (Path: C:\OracleBIData\web\log)
