SUPPLY AND DEMAND ANALYSIS (SDA) EXCEL


GUIDED EXERCISE
In this exercise, we will follow the 6-step process outlined in Supply and Demand Analysis (SDA) Excel DIRECTIONS FOR USE to explore the supply and demand of Web/Multimedia Management, Programming jobs in Region 12.

1) Enable macros

Open SDA Excel and make sure you are on the Main page.

Click on the Options box at the top of the top of the page, then click on Enable macros.

2) Select a region
Select LWIA 12.

Region 12 will display on the top line of Column D, highlighted in blue.

3) Select a Program of Study


Select Web/Multimedia Management, Programming.

4) Display results.
Click Update.

Demand Directly below the Update button, the Demand Data table shows the occupations that are most closely related to training in Web/Multimedia Management, Programming. Look at the table and answer Question #1: 1. Which of these occupations has the Greatest current annual employment? _______________ Lowest expected growth rate? _______________ Highest median salary? _______________ Lowest educational requirement? _______________

It shows the completers (the number of people who have completed various education levels in corresponding occupations). Look at this table and answer Question #2.
