1) Write a report on a live concert that you attend during the semester;

I have listened a lot of classical music at home, I like it very much. I have noticed that I am growing with big love to classical music. I like very much this style of music. I had never really given it a chance, until I started attending my friends concerts and really paying attention to the music. I have realized that classical music is so awesome. Modern music is still the good music for me, but I have really learned to like and respect classical music over the last few months. The last classical concert I attended was Sergey Kim concert. I heard a lot of classical pieces by internet, but I had never seen any of Sergey Kims music performed live. I attend a concert a one bright young pianist Sergey Kim 9-th of October. Concert was in the big hall of Kazakh National Conservatory. It was amazing concert. Sergey Kim played Mozart,Brahms, Lizst, Skryabin and Prokofiev. I arrived with my friends at the concert around sun set. As we pulled up to the entrance, all I could see was a mass of humans. They scattered around the front of the building, some going into the hall and coming out. Sergey Kim played amazing pieces. Music was different. He played pieces of different composers. I heard music of different times and different styles. Mozart sonata number 10 in c dur was very bright, clear and strict. Sergey show all beautifulness of classical music. It was so light performance, which give me positive energy. All passages were like shining brilliants. Mozart in his short life he has created many works in all existed in his day genres and forms. Mozart left in all the genres in which he wrote, works of lasting value. Sergey Kims symphonies, quartets, trios, sonatas, concertos, operas, works for chorus and orchestra equally significant and still have a deep impact on the audience. The most important feature of the artistic image of Mozart is the breadth and diversity of its ethnic and cultural ties. Mozart - the representative of the Viennese classical school, which in his face found its highest expression. Mozart's stay in Italy, France, Germany, affected his work., Hungarian and Slavic elements, Mozart took what he heard, seen, observed in other countries. Thus, in the melody of Mozart's many Italian influences. You can hear it and thin due to French music, with Slavic music. But all in Mozart's music was "his", entered into it as an organic, integral part. All that was vital and necessary, Mozart revised, created his own unique creative style. Mozart's music, revealing a set of relationships with different national cultures, never ever becomes eclectic, everywhere and in everything she wears printing of national identity and the creative personality of the great composer.

His works spanned the period during which that style transformed from one exemplified by the style galant to one that began to incorporate some of the contrapuntal complexities of the late Baroque, complexities against which the galant style had been a reaction. Mozart's own stylistic development closely paralleled the development of the classical style as a whole. In addition, he was a versatile composer and wrote in almost every major genre, including symphony, opera, the solo concerto, chamber music including string quartet and string quintet, and the piano sonata. While none of these genres were new, the piano concerto was almost single-handedly developed and popularized by Mozart. He also wrote a great deal of religious music, including masses; and he composed many dances, divertimenti, serenades, and other forms of light entertainment. The central traits of the classical style can all be identified in Mozart's music. Clarity, balance, and transparency are hallmarks, though a simplistic notion of the delicacy of his music obscures for us the exceptional and even demonic power of some of his finest masterpieces.

Brahms Intermezzio was very bright and colourful. I like his part of piece in piano, it was so amazing to hear. Also I like part when Sergey play forte. It was scale! After brahms he start to play Lizst Rhapsodie de Ispagnole. It was amazing piece! I like it very much. I hear Hispanic motives and it gives me new feelings. It was so bright that I was gasped. Sergei played very fast and clean. All fast moments was so amazing, he played on crescendo and I liked this performance and this piece! In all that Liszt wrote, visible identity, striving for new ways, wealth of imagination, courage and originality techniques peculiar view on art. His instrumental compositions represent a remarkable step forward in the musical architectonics. His piano pieces represent a rich new material for the researcher of musical form. Liszts music is very powerful. He shows how music is great! It was pleasant to hear souch beautiful piece. I like this music, this concert, and how pianist shows all beauty of music. I was very impressed by this masterpiece. I was really impressed by his performance and these beautiful pieces. It was so awesome, that we was impressed by performance and concert. Franz Liszt, along with Richard Wagner, was a leader in the battle to legitimize program music. In an extended essay on Berliozs symphony Harold en Italie, he identifies the key distinction between the "purely musical composer" (that is, one dedicated to the idea of absolute music) and the more engaged composer who wrestles with ideas extending beyond music. It had a slow tempo, metered, crescendo at certain points. It mostly stayed at the same volume. Music of Scriabin was difficult to understand. It was colorful, but it was difficult to understand some moments. But also Sergey was amazing. Scriabins music gives me different feelings, sometimes I dream and this music gives me unique happiness. Also sometimes it was strange, but I Like this music. It was very pleasant to listen. I like how pianist Sergey Kim touch piano, hear his music, how he think about each piece, and how he feels all different pieces. It was so nice to see young pianist Sergey Kim on the scene. I think he great young pianist with amazing talent. Pianist Sergey Kim is one of the brightest stars in the young pianists of our country. Scriabins music shows very colorful and interesting. It is very different and colorful. Sergey Kim is amazing pianist with amazing feelings of Scriabins music and Scriabins pieces. Scriabin was one of the greatest musicians and composers. He wrote a lot of beautiful pieces. The piece was metered, loud. It had an easy theme to recognize. It became gradually louder. It had a conjunct rhythm. It had crescendo and diminuendo, harsh sound, unmetered.. Hes amazing concert give me a lot of new feelings, and a lot of new senses. Prokofiev sonata shocked me from beginning; it was so different from other music! Prokofiev music is very dynamic and bright. Sergei Prokofiev was a Russian composer who was particularly talented. He began composing at the age of five, and while still in his teens, he had written four operas, two symphonies, and a stack of piano music. It was so great performance. Sergei Prokofievs music is unique. This piece was very easy to hear. It was metered, highly syncopated. The composer stood in the front. The harmony was polyphonic. It had a fast tempo. It had accents at different levels, not an easy tune to hum to. It will suddenly get louder. The end is the loudest, towards the end becoming dissonance. Classical music is a means of relaxation and mind enhancement for the individual as well as entertainment for all. Classical music is used by many as a way to relax and escape everyday chaos. After a long, hard day at work, classical music is often played during the ride home to alleviate built up, work related stress. One of these "hidden" languages is music. It is very similar to natural language and is as useful to us in acquiring knowledge as natural language. Natural language is inherently difficult to define because it is so broad and can have so many interpretations. Fundamentally, it is a method of communication which can take a number of forms such as, but not limited to, written and oral expression. Natural language must have

rules which provide structure and allow us to form recognizable expressions that others can comprehend and interpret. It must also be able and learnt, thereby allowing others to use the language for communication and self-expression. Music is primarily an auditory language. When you turn on your radio or go to a concert, the form in which music comes to you is sound that has been organized into something understandable and interpretable. These sounds can be vocal, instrumental, or a combination of the two. They can be written down, though this is rare when we look at the world's cultures. Music is a form of expression of feeling, emotion, thought, opinions, and views which can be understood by people worldwide. Just as writers and poets express themselves through a written language, composers and other musicians say what they want to through their music. A lot of worldwide pianists play different pieces of Sergei Prokofiev. A lot of pianists like music and pieces of Sergei Prokofiev. It was so beautiful, different music moments give me a lot of pleasant. I was very happy, that I went to this concert. It was amazing concert!
