ENHANCING LIVES WITH TRANSPARENT TECHNOLOGY

Cogneedos essence in a nutshell is enhancing lives through transparent technology. This is especially important in the so-called Silicon Prairie that is now developing (thank you, Google Fiber!). Its more important now than ever to make technology accessible and easy to use, while still providing a powerful tool to the users. The midwest will become a very important place for technological advancements if we play our cards right. And Cogneedo is a part of this revolution.

THE BRAND

BRANDMARK ELEMENTS

As I mentioned in a previous presentation, I nally gured out how to execute the idea of a dynamic mark. While the shape of the mark doesnt change, its coloring and transparency do, depending on stylistic choices and a color code. So, these are the brands official colors. The blue-green is mainly used to denote the design end of Cogneedo. The orange is for developers, the gray is for businessrelated things, and the purple is more or less a representation of the cross-discipline nature of Cogneedos departmental structure.

BRANDMARK ELEMENTS

These are the gradient styles that can be used to create either a translucent mark (as shown) or a two-color gradient mark when paired with a complementary gradient.

The gradients are inverses of each other, so that they pair perfectly.

Complementary gradients are combined in different colors to create richer marks.

VARIETY

In addition to dynamism in the gradients, there is also variety in the way the mark and logotype interact.

THE TOUCHPOINTS

Business cards, like the mark itself, are colored to reect the purpose of the material. Designers have blue-green cards, and developers have orange. And since Bryan and I are both cross-discipline, weve got purple in our marks.

The mark is usually shown in a blue-green and orange gradient, showing design rst and fading into development, just like Cogneedos typical workow.

Envelope and other printed materials have the Cogneedo loop pattern.

Shirts come in the brands colors.

The signage is metallic, durable, and practical. Just like the brand it represents.

The website is for keeping the audience updated on local tech, design, and entrepreneurial happenings. Its also a place to brag about Cogneedos works-in-progress.
