PHILOSOPHY OF MINISTRY I believe it is the purpose of the church to make fully obedient disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe the specic responsibility of the appointed leaders of the church is to instruct its members in the Word of God, equipping them to uIlize their spiritual giLs to imitate Christ and share the grace of God with others (Majhew 28:18-20; Acts 6:1-4; Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Peter 4:10). LEADERSHIP STYLE It is my convicIon that to lead well, one must serve well. Regardless of the sefng, I cannot ask someone under my leadership to do that which I am unwilling to do. We are not to lord it over those under our watch, but should follow the example of Christ in serving one another, teaching others to do the same (Maj 20:25-28; John 13:12-15). This has been my leadership style in both the ministry and the marketplace.
