20122013 Rules

Rule #1: Dont be an ahole!

League Composi on
The CSFFL is a 14 team league run on Yahoo. The regular season takes place from Week 1 to Week 13 of the NFL regular season. There are no divisions and each team plays each other once.

Playos
The top six teams by win/loss record will make the playos, taking place Weeks 14-16. The top two teams will earn rst round playo byes. If mul ple teams have iden cal records, the winner of their regular season matchup will determine playo seeding, with total points against being the further ebreaker if necessary. The bo om eight teams go to the consola on playos and are seeded in the same fashion.

Entry and Prizes

There is a $50.00 entry fee, due before the dra date as set by the commissioner. The Commissioner reserves the right to dra for any team that has not paid their entry fee on or before dra day. All entry fees are paid out in prizes at the end of the year as follows:

Overall winner of the playos: $ 500 Second place: $150 Consola on bracket playo winner: $50

Dra
The CSFFL u lizes a snake dra with owners ge ng 90 seconds per pick. Dra posi ons are fully tradeable and transferrable both individual round picks and overall dra spots. Dra order is determined by each player drawing a number out of a hat. Re-ordering player rankings on the dra site prior to dra me is strongly encouraged, even if the owner expects to be present for the en re dra , in order to prevent undesirable auto-picks in the event of unforeseen circumstances. In the event of an internet connec on problem or other situa on that would enable the dra sites auto-dra func on for an otherwise present owner, any auto-dra ed picks made for an owner during this me will be considered nal. This rule has one excep onIf the owner reconnects in a mely fashion and informs the commissioner of a replacement pick, and that replacement player has not already been selected by another team, the replacement pick will be subs tuted for the auto-dra ed selec on.

Rosters
Rosters consist a total of 15 players. This includes nine starters; (1) QB, (2) RB, (2) WR, (1) Flex (RB/WR/TE), (1) TE, (1) DEF, and (1) K with six bench spots available. Teams can carry no more than 4 QBs, 8 RBs, 8 WRs, 3 TEs, 3 DSTs, and/or 3 Ks at any one me. Team owners are expected to eld a compe ve roster with the intent to win and manage their team to the best of their ability each week of the CSFFL season. Tanking games (losing on purpose with the intent to alter playo seeding) is strictly prohibited. Strategically leaving a roster spot open in order to secure a win is, however, allowable. (Example: Team A is up by 1 point on Team B. Team A has a DEF playing on Monday night whereas Team B has no one playing. Team A can pull their DEF so as to avoid the possibility of their DEF scoring them nega ve points.)

Trades & Transac ons

Trading of players and dra picks is allowed and greatly encouraged. Once a trade is accepted, it takes eect immediately with no review period. There are no limits to the number of trades a team may make or in the league as a whole. The trade deadline by which all trades need to be accepted is November 21st at 12 PM Eastern The CSFFL trades on the honor system, however, if any player considers a trade collusive or against the spirit of CSFFL compe on, they may submit the trade for review to the commissioner who will take appropriate ac on in his sole discre on, if necessary. Collusion or any a empt to collude will be dealt with in strictest terms, up to and including forfeiture of eligibility for prize money. Temporary trades or borrowing players (trading players for a short period of me and then trading them back the next) is not allowed. If this is determined to have occurred a er the player(s) has(have) been used in a lineup and then traded back, both the borrower and the lender will have the borrowed player(s) points scored for the week deducted from their weeks point total. The waiver system is u lized for transac ons with all waiver claims being processed at the beginning of the league week on Wednesdays. Teams making a waiver claim are moved to last in the waiver order. There are no limits to the number of waiver claims a team may make during the season.

Scoring
The CSFFL uses decimal scoring. In the unlikely event of a e, no ebreaker will be used and the outcome of that game will be reected on the teams records as a e score. A coin ip ebreaker is available should both owners involved in a e score game agree to it. Scoring will reect any next day stat correc ons by the league management website or the NFL. Scoring se ngs are as follows:

Issues Not Covered in The Ocial Rules

Finally, if an issue or situa on arises that is not explicitly outlined in these ocial rules, the commissioner will render his decision a er discussion with league members, other fantasy football commissioners and in keeping with the tenets of fairness, league integrity and above all else, rule #1.
