Key Presenters

Domenico Granozio is an Application Engineer for Amplifier Products in Europe,


Domenico Granozio based at National Semiconductor's European Headquarters in Fürstenfeldbruck
near Munich, Germany. He joined National in 2005 working primarily on
high-speed and video amplifier applications.
Application Engineer
Amplifier Products Europe He holds the "Laurea" degree in Electronic engineering from the University
of Salerno, Italy. From June 2003 until June 2005, he has collaborated with
the Electrical Engineering Department, University of Salerno as a researcher.

Paul McCormack is a Senior Applications Engineer for Data Conversion Systems in


Paul McCormack Europe, based at National Semiconductor‘s European Headquarters in Fürstenfeld-
bruck. Paul has been with National’s data conversion systems division since 2001
Senior Applications Engineer working primarily on high-speed converter applications.

He holds a master‘s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the
Queens University of Belfast and has a keen interest in analog and micro-
electronics.

Jürgen Hauser is a Senior Applications Engineer for Audio Products in Europe,


Jürgen Hauser based at National Semiconductor's European Headquarters in Fürstenfeldbruck
near Munich, Germany.
Senior Applications Engineer Jürgen is working on applications in the fields of cellular handsets, high-end
Audio Products Europe consumer, professional and high performance Audio. Prior to joining National he
had been spezialized in designing and implementing complex audio solutions for 2.5G
and 3G mobile phones.

He holds a Master's degree in Electronics and Communications Technology from the


Technical University Graz/Austria.

Dr. Thomas Wirschem Dr. Wirschem is based in National Semiconductor’s European Headquarters in
Fürstenfeldbruck. He is responsible for the technical marketing of high-speed
Interface, Ethernet and Timing products.
Dr. Wirschem joined National in 1998. Prior to his assignment at National, he
Product Marketing Manager worked as a field application engineer for ATMEL covering the AVR and ARM based
Interface Division Europe controllers, programmable logic devices (FPGAs) and non-volatile memory product
families.
He holds a diploma in physics as well as a PhD from the Technical University in
Munich/Germany. The main topics of his PhD thesis were semiconductor physics
and optoelectronic interfaces.
