life. (36) Ch. 5 yet with how many things are we upon the brink of becoming acquainted, ifenquiries. (30) Ch. 4 I had saved a human being from destruction, and as afl4esh and bone. (101) Ch.16 Victor has now used his scientific knowledge to create a being but is now miserable because he doesnt like his own creation. Victor chooses to defy nature anyway and create his creation. He says that instead of being a coward, he would just create this creature. The creation proves to be inhumane because he gets shot twice and yet he still lives; he never received any help or attention for it, yet he still survives. Now, the creature is angry with society because he has no one to teach him the meaning of life and he seeks the revenge of his creator. Instead of being a new creature in the world, being taught how to walk, crawl, and speak but instead, the creature has to learn the words on his own without any help. This disrupts the laws of human nature because Victor is trying to play God but in reali6ty, counters God because he completely rejects what he created. The creature is now defying the creator, giving him an ultimatum. If he doesnt listen, the creature would ruin society. Victor now feels guilty for the murder and other causes that his creature did because it could have all been different if he never abandoned him. This disrupts the laws of nature because naturally, human beings can never directly go against their God but in this situation, victor created something more powerful then himself. This shows that Victor actually enjoys giving life to the already dead even though he knew it was wrong and society would never approve of it.
