I'm glad that Ray got out there successfully and is making connections (and puppetry too). We are both eager to get out ourselves. I am looking forward to the possibilities and opportunities. History will definitely be made; with faith, trust, hope, and work we can make some positive history. God's direction (both personal and congregational) is fundamental; with faith, intellect, purpose, and wisdom I pray that each person (and the congregation) can find God's direction. We are busy here. Heather has the musical (for Great Lakes, her school) which has been occupying all of her time (and spare time) for the last month. This weekend is when it runs so she should be able to slow down after that. We are attempting (note key word: attempting) to sell the house. We've had 15-20 viewings but no offers yet. Prayers for the house selling, in particular, would be greatly appreciated. Selling the house in the spring (when the market is apparently better) would be difficult from afar. However, we have (or more accurately choose to have) faith that things will work out (even if that means carrying the house for several months). We are almost ready to hire the movers (which apparently are cheaper than renting a truck). Just a few minor details to figure out. My tentative plan is to arrive Jan. 23rd or 24th. Both Heather and I have commented that our heads and hearts have already moved (if that makes sense). We are really looking forward to our future together with everyone in the lake. In a very real sense for us you all will become our new family and we enjoy that concept.

Thanksgiving that no-one was seriously hurt in the accident at Arcola this past week. I would like to thank who ever it was that tidyed up the office and re-arranged the furniture in the foyer.
