A CHAPLET OF THE SAVIOR

A chaplet is a set of prayer beads, such as a Rosary, and the term is used by extension for the prayers meant to be used with these beads. While there are several different kinds of chaplets, having various objects of contemplation and utilizing various numbers of beads, this Chaplet of the Savior is prayed using a standard (or Dominican) Rosary. The prayer Salvator mundi (O Savior of the world, who by thy Cross and Precious Blood hast redeemed us: Save us and help us, we humbly beseech thee, O Lord) is used in place of the Ave Maria on the small beads. The verses provided should be inserted between the two parts of the Salvator mundi prayer, as follows: O Savior of the world, [insert verse here] Save us and help us, we humbly beseech thee, O Lord.
