Officers were dispatched to a East Road residence in regards to a suspicious person who had knocked on the door of the residence and attempted to gain entry by telling the homeowner that they were working with the Atkinson Highway Department and conducting a survey. When the female homeowner did not let the subject in, he left the scene in a dirty blue minivan. Officers were later dispatched back to the residence for a report that the same individual had returned. The subject was not located and, according to the footprints in the snow it appeared that the person was picked up on the road. The homeowner advised the Officer that she heard a knock at the door and saw a white male who was wearing jeans, and a brown shirt. The man advised her that he was conducting a survey from the Highway Department. When the homeowner did not let him in, he left the area. Nothing Follows
