    MEASUREMENT OF CONSTRUCTION WORKS IV FOR ADMINISTRATION BLOCK ITEM DESCRIPTION PILING WORKS (ALL PROVISIONAL) PREAMBLES GROUND WATER

    LEVEL Established at 3.50M below existing ground level an 7th April 2010 which shall be designated at the precontract water level. TRIAL PITS/ BORE HOLES 5 Nos. of bore holes were sunk on the site. EXISTING SOURCES Telephone cables across over the site of a height of 10.00M on the North side of the site as shown on the location drawing. WORK NEAR WATER The work is to be carried out at a minimum distance of 400.00M from a canal, the normal level of which is 3.50M below ground level. STARTING LEVEL E. The piling work is expected to start at and measured have been taken fro existing platfrom level. PLANT PROVISION OF PILING PLANT TO SITE Allow for bringing to site and removing from site all plant required for this type of piling. MOVING AND HANDLING PLANT ABOUT SITE G.
