Student Placements:
Student placement at MPCS is taken very seriously by our staff. Careful consideration of student academic ability, social and emotional development, special learning and behavioural needs are taken into consideration when assigning students to a particular class grouping. Student friendships are considered but are not the only criteria when placing students. Our goal is to achieve the best possible learning environment for all students in any particular class grouping. Thursday September 6th: All students should report to their last years class promptly so that moves to their new classrooms can begin immediately. We ask that you not accompany your child to his/her new classroom so that the moves can happen smoothly. Class Lists will be posted in the main hall by 9:00 a.m. Thank you in advance for your patience.

Student Agenda Books:

All Grades One to Seven students are required to have an agenda book as it is a valuable means of communication between school and home. These are to be purchased in classrooms beginning on Sept. 6th for a cost of $10.00 (cheque payable to MPCS or exact change only)

School Supplies:
Supply lists are available in the office. For those of you that ordered Student Supply Packages last June, the packages will be delivered to classrooms on Thursday. If you would still like to order supply packages this can be done online ($5.00 late fee). www.teachersfile.ca No orders can be accepted at the school office.

Allergy Awareness:
Our school is a Nut Free Zone. To ensure the safety of all of our students it is imperative that no peanut, sesame or other nut products be brought to school. This can be a life threatening issue for a child with an allergy so we appreciate your cooperation.
