MODERN GADGETS CAN LEAD TO YOUNGSTERS MORAL DECADENCE Specific purpose: To inform my audience about the causes of youngsters

moral decadence due to modern gadgets. Central idea: The reasons for moral decadence among youngsters are due to misuse of modern gadgets, update with the trends and negative peer pressure. I. Introduction The causes of moral decadence among youngsters due to modern gadgets are the youngsters misused of modern gadgets, updating with the trends and negative peer pressure. II. Body A. One reason for this problem is the youngster misuse of modern gadgets. 1. Youngsters can easily access to inappropriate sites. a. Modern gadgets have made it more convenient for youngsters to access pornography. b. They tend to commit cyber-crimes. 2. Youngsters become addicted to video games. a. The youngsters will become aggressive if too much exposed to violence video games. (Hulaimi, 2012) b. They will be isolated from family and friends. B. Another reason is the youngsters eagerly follow up with the recent trends. 1. They want to be an up-to-date person along with the technology enhancement. a. It encourages the youngsters to spend beyond their means. 2. They do not want to be called as an old school if they still use old gadgets. C. Another reason is negative peer pressure. 1. The youngsters will influences in applying the modern gadgets in the wrong way. a. Due to loneliness and desire for acceptance, the youngsters are easily being influence to misuse the modern gadgets. b. They eagerly to try something what others youngster are doing. III. Conclusion The youngsters misused of modern gadgets, updating with the recent trends and negative peer pressure are the causes of moral decadence among youngsters due to modern gadgets.
