Preface
1. All Islamic brothers and sisters who have been initiated
into the Spiritual Order of Qdiriyya Razawyya are
permitted to recite Shajara Qdiriyya.
2. Each and every letter of all the Awrd and Wazif
(invocations and recitals) included in this Shajara, must
be recited with correct pronunciation, following the rules
of Tajwd and Qurnic recitation
1
.
3. The one who cannot distinguish between the sounds of

and

and

and

etc. is not permitted to recite

these invocations. Beware; there is a danger of harm in
reciting them incorrectly.
4. Therefore, get your pronunciation of these invocations
checked by a Sunn Qr or Sunn Scholar who knows the
art of Qirt (Qurnic recitation).
5. If you recite all the invocations given in Shajara, |

.`

| . ..

.
_

,
you will gain countless blessings in this world as well as in

1
Do go through the details of this ruling on page 88, volume 3 of Bar-e-Sharat.
Preface
6
the Hereafter. One may also recite a few invocations, but
awb will be reduced.
6. Pick only as many invocations for you as you can recite
consistently.
7. Recite Durd once in the beginning and once at the end
of every invocation. If multiple invocations are recited in
one session, reciting Durd once in the beginning and
once at the end of that session would be sufficient.

Invocations to be Recited in the Morning and the
Evening
First of all, keep the Islamic definitions of morning and
evening in mind:
The duration from midnight to the glimmering of the first ray
of the sun is called morning. Whatever recited within this
duration will be considered to have been recited in morning.
From the starting of ur time upto the sunset is called evening.
Whatever recited within this duration will be considered to
have been recited in the evening. By reciting the following
invocations every morning and evening, the reciter would attain
countless benefits. It is not necessary to recite in sequence.
1. Recitation of

and

three times
each is a great means of protection from every affliction.
If one recites these Sras in the morning, he will be
protected till the evening, and if he recites them in the
evening, he will remain secured till morning. (Ab Dwd,
ad No. 5082, Vol. 4, page 355)

Sleep after performing Ish al; when you wake up during
any part of the night before ub-e-diq (dawn), even if you
wake up having slept for a short while after Ish al, make
Wu and perform at least 2 Rakats Nafl al. This al is
called Taajjud. It is Sunna to perform 8 Rakats, while the
practice of the Mashikh is to perform 12 Rakats. As for the
recitation of the Holy Qurn in Taajjud, one may recite from
any part or Sra of the Qurn. In the Rakats of Taajjud
al, it is better to recite as much Quran as one has memorized.
If one has memorized the whole Qurn by heart, he may
complete the recitation of the whole Qurn in Taajjud within
a minimum period of 3 days and a maximum period of 40 days.
One may also recite Sra Ikhl (

) three times in
every Rakat. By doing so, he will attain the awb of reciting
the whole Quran in each Rakat.

Necessary Instructions
1. It is extremely necessary for every sane and adult Islamic
brother and sister to offer five daily al regularly. For
men, it is also Wjib to offer al with Jamat in Masjid.
The abandoner of al is like a human-portrait that has
an apparent human face but cannot carry out any act
typical of humans. Remember! The one who never offers
al is not the only abandoner of al; rather, the one
who misses even one al deliberately is also an abandoner
of al. Missing al out of job, employment, trade or
any other busyness is ungratefulness and utter foolishness.
No employer (even if he is a non-Muslim) can prevent his
employees from offering al. If the employer doesnt
allow the employees to offer al, such sort of employment
is absolutely arm. Remember! No means of livelihood
can bring about blessings in sustenance by missing al.
Sustenance is under the omnipotence of All

.
who
has declared al Far. The abandoners of al invite
the wrath of All

.
.
Shajara-e-Ariyya
27
2. Make a cautious estimation as to how many total al
you have missed; even if the estimation includes more
al than you actually missed, there is no harm in it but
no missed al should be left out. Offer all these al
gradually but as shortly as possible. Do not be lazy as the
time of death is not known. No Nafl worship is accepted
as long as the Far worship is due. If there are a number
of Qa al to be offered, for example, hundred Fajr
Qa al are to be offered, make the following intention
each time: I am offering the very first Fajr that I missed.
Make similar intention for every missed al. Qa of
only Far and Witr are offered. Therefore, total twenty
Rakats of Qa are offered per day.
3. Similarly, all the missed fasts have also to be kept before
the arrival of the next Raman as a blessed ad says
that the fasts of the next Raman are not accepted unless
the fasts of the previous Raman are offered.
1

4. Those who possess wealth to the extent of the Nib of
Zakt must pay their Zak subject to the conditions of
Zak
2
. In case of not paying Zak for many years, make
a calculation for the total amount of unpaid Zak and
pay it forthwith. To delay in paying Zak after the
completion of (lunar) year is a sin. Zak may also be

with your writhing heart in the grief of being far from the
Beloved Rasl

so, definitely at the time of
death, you will be smiling by virtue of beholding and attaining
the closeness of the beloved Prophet

whereas
all others would be crying in the grief of your departure from
the world.
Dear Islamic brothers and sisters! Remember the promise that
you have made with All

via this sinner. Please make
Du for me as well that I always abide by all the Divine
commandments sincerely and act upon Sunna till the end of

O Islamic brothers and sisters! Remember that you have

promised to perform al, fast and fulfil all other obligations
in conformity with Shara and refrain from sins. May All

.
enable you to keep your promise! Breaking a promise is a
arm and extremely evil act. Fulfilling a promise is obligatory
even if it is made to an ordinary person. Remember you have
made this promise to All

.
O Islamic brothers and sisters! Dont be heedless of your death.
If you remember it, you will remain safe from destruction;
your faith and religion will be secured, you will be blessed with
acting upon Sunna and refraining from committing sins.
O Islamic brothers! Remain awake today so that you may sleep
with peace, protection and comfort after your death; the angel

Listen!
Wake up! You should stay awake while you are under the
shadow of the sky because, after death, you will have to sleep
under your grave till the day of Judgement.
O Islamic brothers and sisters! Dont fall for the World. Excessive
fascination by the world will make you heedless of your Creator

.
. World is the other name of heedlessness of All

.
.
Dont trust and fall in love with this disloyal world. You will be
hunted down by death.
Recitation of Qurn
Great Auliy of All

.
have said that the recitation of the
Qurn is doubtlessly a tried and trusted invocation for the
fulfilment of desires. Recite daily as much Qurn as you can do
reverently. If you recite it according to the below-mentioned
method,

| |

.` . ..

.
you will attain success soon. Start recitation
on Jumua (Friday) and complete it on Thursday.
Friday:
From Sra Ftia (

) to the end of Sra
Mida (

).
Saturday:
From Sra Anm (

) to the end of Sra
Tauba (

).
Sunday:
From Sra Ynus (

) to the end of Sra
Maryam (

).
Shajara-e-Ariyya
32
Monday:
From Sra (

) to the end of Sra
Qaa (

).
Tuesday:
From Sra Ankabt (

) to the end of
Sra d (

).
Wednesday:
From Sra Zumar (

) to the end of
Sra Ramn (

).
Thursday:
From Sra Wqia (

) to the end of
Sra Ns (

).
Recite in seclusion; avoid talking during recitation. For the
achievement of every campaign and fulfilment of every task,
recitation of complete Qurn for 12 consecutive times is
believed to be the most effective invocation.

Recite the above-mentioned Durd after Jumua al 100
times with congregation in standing posture, with folded
hands facing the direction of the blessed city of Madna. The
Masjid where alt-ul-Jumua is not offered, recite this

1
Al arat

,
has combined three different Durd in this one Durd,
therefore it is called Durd-e-Razav.
Shajara-e-Ariyya
33
Durd after Fajr, ur or Ar on Friday. If one is alone
anywhere, he should recite this Durd alone. Likewise, Islamic
sisters should recite this Durd in their homes.
There are numerous virtues of reciting Durd & Salm. Just a
few are presented here. If a Muslim loving the Holy Prophet
,

_.

.
, considering him greater than everyone in the
world by heart, staying away from his blasphemers and having
resentment against them in heart, recites Durd and Salm, he
will attain innumerable blessings. Some benefits are mentioned
below.
1. All

.
sends 3000 mercies on the reciter of Durd.
2. All

.
sends 2000 Salm upon him.
3. Five thousand good deeds are written in his book of deeds.
4. His 5000 ranks will be elevated.
5. His 5000 sins are forgiven.
6. It will be written on his forehead that he is not a hypocrite.
7. It will be written on his forehead that he is free from the
fire of Hell.
8. All

.
will keep him with the martyrs on the Day of
Judgement.
9. His wealth will increase.
10. His children and grandchildren will increase in number.
11. All

.
will give him dominance over his enemies.
Shajara-e-Ariyya
34
12. His love will be put into the hearts of people.
13. He would be blessed with beholding the beloved Nab
,

_.

.
any day in dream.
14. He will die with Imn (faith).
15. The Beloved Rasl
,

_.

.
will shake hands with
him on the Day of Judgement.
16. The intercession of the Noble Prophet
,

_.

.

will be Wjib for him.
17. All

.
will be so pleased with him that He

.
will
never be displeased. Al arat

_.

,
has given the
permission of reciting this Durd-e-Razavyya to all the
Sunn Muslims provided that they refrain from (the
company of) religious bigots.
Islamic Sisters to Pay Attention
Dear Islamic sisters! It is obligatory for you to acquire necessary
knowledge about your menstrual periods. Do go through the
second part of Bar-e-Sharat or ask any other sister to read
it out to you. Furthermore, in order to learn necessary rulings
about Parda (Islamic veiling) read Bar-e-Sharat, Vol. 16,
page 78-86. Some information regarding veil is mentioned below.
Sayyidatun Umm-e-Salama
.

_.

,
narrates: Sayyidatun
Mamna
.

_.

,
and I were present in the court of the
Beloved Rasl

_.

.
,
. (Meanwhile, a blind companion)
arat Abdull Bin Umm-e-Maktm

_.

,
arrived. The
Shajara-e-Ariyya
35
beloved Rasl
,

_.

.
asked us to have veil. I said, O
Prophet of All

_.

.
,

|
, he is blind and will not be
able to see us. The beloved Rasl
,

_.

.
replied,
Are both of you also blind? Would you also not be able to see
him? (Jmi-e- Tirmi, ad No. 2787, Vol. 4, page 356)
Dear Islamic sisters. The foregoing narration clarified that as it
is mandatory for man not to see N-Maram woman, likewise,
woman should also avoid seeing N-Maram man. However,
there is a slight difference between a mans looking at a N-
Maram woman and a womans looking at a N-Maram man;
if the woman is sure that she would not have lust in case of
seeing so and so man, there is no harm for her, but if she has
even doubt about having lust, she must not see him.
Some More Rulings
1. A woman must neither touch the body of a N-Maram
man nor shake hands with him. She cannot even kiss the
hands of her Murshid.
2. A woman should not throw away her hairs breaking while
combing at a place where a N-Maram man can see them.
3. There is a command of Parda (Islamic veiling) between
cousin brothers and sisters. Non-observance of Parda
between brother-in-law (husbands brother) and sister-
in-law (brothers wife) is a cause of destruction like death.
(Mir)
Shajara-e-Ariyya
36
4. Islamic sisters must not sit on terraces outside the house,
nor peep through the windows as these acts may open the
door of evils.
Dawat-e-Islami
Dear Islamic brothers and sisters! Dawat-e-Islami is a non-
political movement for the preaching of Qurn and Sunna.
You should make every possible co-operation to it physically,
heartily and financially. Wherever Dawat-e-Islamis weekly
Ijtim (congregations) are held, you should make an ardent
effort to attend them. Likewise, wherever Dars of Fazn-e-
Sunnat is given, you should participate in it. The places where
the Dars of Fazn-e-Sunnat is not given, make arrangements
for the commencement of daily Dars at such places. Every
Islamic brother is strictly advised to travel with the Madan
Qfila for at least three days every month.
Method of Delivering Dars
Say the following three times:
Please come closer
Then, taking veil within veil (double-covering), sit in folded leg
position [as in al] and recite the following:

Then say the following:
My Dear Islamic Brothers! Come closer and, in respect of the
Dars, sit in the folded leg position [as you sit in al]. If you get
tired, then sit in any comfortable position. Lower your gaze and
listen to the Dars from Fazn-e-Sunnat with full concentration
because listening to it inattentively looking here and there,
playing on the floor with your finger or messing around with
your clothes, body or hair may result in the removal of its
blessings

.
After saying this, read an excellence of Durd from Fazn-e-
Sunnat.

1
Make similar persuasion in the commencement of Bayn (Speech) as well.
Shajara-e-Ariyya

Thereafter, read this aloud so that all brothers would recite
Durd.

Thereafter, begin the Dars by reading from the book. Read out

Make persuasion in the following words at the end of Dars
(Each Muballigh should memorize following paragraph by
heart and make persuasion accordingly without any alteration
at the end of Dars and Bayn).
By the Grace of All

are abundantly learnt and taught in the
Madan Environment of Dawat-e-Islami, a global non-political
movement for the preaching of Qurn and Sunna.
It is a Madan request to spend the whole night in the weekly
Sunna-inspiring Ijtim commencing after alt-ul-Maghrib
every Thursday in your city. (In Bb-ul-Madna [Karachi], the
Ijtim is held at Fazn-e-Madna, Maalla Saudagrn, Old
Sabz Man). Habitualize yourself to a punctual travel in the
Madan Qfila with the devotees of the Holy Prophet to learn
the Sunna and fill out the Madan Inmt booklet daily
practicing Fikr-e-Madna (Madan Contemplation) and submit
it to the immadr (relevant representative of Dawat-e-Islami)

of your locality. By the blessing of this,

you will
develop a mindset and a yearning to protect your faith, adopt
the Sunnas and be averse to sins.
Every Islamic brother should develop the Madan Mindset that
