Wheat, corn and soybean futures rise of the CBOT. Wheat for March delivery rose 6.50 cents to $7.7875 a bushel; March corn rose 2.50 cents to $6.94 a bushel; March oats fell 4 cents to $3.49 a bushel; while January soybeans rose 5.25 cents to $14.24 a bushel. Spot turmeric gains with futures

Trading tip:

Spot turmeric prices increased following a rise in the futures market. Suddenly, the turmeric futures increased to Rs 6,700 a quintal which has reflected in local market also. Because of such increase traders and stockists quoted a higher price and purchased 70 per cent stock.
