MERRY CHRISTMAS MERRY CHRISTMAS A HAPPY NEW YEAR! A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Dear MOPP Subscriber/Supporter As we move quickly toward 2013, we look back at Election Year 2012 as very disappointing politically for all the reasons we are all painfully aware of, but it was also a year of incredible activity and accomplishments for the grassroots across the State of Missouri. The caucuses, in early spring, saw a record number of participants. As the year progressed, many conservatives stepped forward to implement the precinct strategy by running to fill committee positions in their countys central committee, while others ran for a variety of offices within their communities or engaged in working to get their favorite candidate(s) elected. It has become even more apparent that the only way we will be able to REALLY change things is on the local and State levelthat is where we have the most power. As you know that is exactly the model that MOPP endorses - all politics is local - we are strongest and can yield the most influence locally which will then trickle up Missouri Precinct Project/MOPP will continue to promote/encourage the precinct strategy as a means to maximize our influence on the local levelbelow you will find a list of our goals for 2013

MOPPS PLANS FOR 2013. Continue to add representation in the counties, by adding county coordinators, with the goal to achieve 100% coverage, thus continuing to build a cohesive statewide coalition and communication network. Continue to work with like-minded groups/coalitions across the State to accomplish our mutual goals. Continue to use the Political Gravity database system to identify conservatives and continue to build our network to keep the rolls up to date going into coming election cycles, so we do not have to start from scratch everytimeand to also use this information to convert people to conservatism Continue to work with True the Vote in order to use the information from the past election to expose and report and clean up voter fraud in each Missouri county. Expose/work to eliminate Agenda 21 initiatives in counties/municipalities. Continue to implement the precinct strategy to restore conservative principles and values to the process. Continue to inform and educate via newsletters, emails, meetings, seminars, etc.

GETTING INVOLVED IN YOUR PRECINCT

WHY:
Because we believe all politics is local Become involved at the local level to restore conservative values and principles that will then trickle UP to all levels of government MOPP is not the first to utilize this strategy Phyllis Schlafly implemented the precinct strategy to defeat the ERA 30+ years ago We believe that Missouri needed to join the ranks of other states with similar efforts, including Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Nevada and Utah. We want to encourage Missourians across the State to work in their own communities and counties to make a difference

WHAT:
MOPPs 4 pronged strategy: 1. Key element (hence the name Missouri Precinct Project): Identify the 40-50% of the unfilled precinct/township committee positions in their county that go unfilled. (many of our members have filed to fill these positions across the state ie., St. Louis County stat, 35 new) 2. Get out the Conservative vote a. MOPP encourages its members to utilize our database (we are in the final stage of determining which program we will be using) to canvass their neighborhood to identify and register conservative voters, educate voters on issues and candidates and get them to the polls on election day. b. MOPP also partners with Champion The Voteencouraging our volunteers to become Champions in the Champion the Vote program to register unregistered Christian voters. (*in Missouri in 2008 there was only a 4000 difference between the 2 presidential candidatesthats a pretty close margin, but yet there are approximately 150,000 unregistered Christians in the State.) Go here to become a Champion http://championthevote.com/headquarters/missouri 3. 4. Encourage becoming a poll worker to help prevent voter fraud. Build and maintain a database in order to form a more effective coalition, united voice for Conservatives across the State

HOW:
Educate/Motivate 1. Precinct training seminar last October partnering with Dallas Tea Party and American Majority 2. Precinct Organizing and Preventing Voter Fraud training (Feb 2012) 3. Caucus Training Seminar 4. Training Manuals --Caucus 101 Handbook (We are very pleased at how many grassroots individuals participated in the recent caucuses, even though they have never been involved before) Note: MOPP will soon release 1) Precinct Training Manual and a 2. Becoming a Poll Worker manual. 5. Newsletter 6. Blast emails 7. Action alerts 8. Presentations to various groups statewide 9. Training Seminars

IN SUMMARY:
If we are ever to get control of our government and change the type of people we get into office and the control that bigmoney currently brings, we must get directly and actively involved at the grassroots level in the two-party system. It is not going to be easy, and it is not going to change overnight. But without this approach, we are simply reshuffling the chairs on the deck of the Titanic. Do we just want the furniture to look better before we crash into the iceberg, or do we want to change the ships course to prevent it from sinking?

Mission Statement
Restore Constitutional principles and conservative values by engaging conservatives in grassroots politics.
