Land Activities
20.20.20- Three workouts in one! This 20.20.20 class is designed to give you the ultimate challenge and total body workout. Sweat through 20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of strength training, & 20 minutes of stretching and core work. Are you ready for the challenge? Time: Mondays & Wednesdays 4:45pm-5:45pm (Starting January 7th)
Cost: $4 per class

Water Activities

Swim Clinic- Want to improve your strokes? Are you curious about joining a swim team? Come join us at a swim clinic this month with the Waverunners Coach, Alicia Henderson. All ages and levels are welcome. January 12th 11am Freestyle and Backstroke January 19th 11am Starts, Turns, & Finishes Cost: $8 per clinic, or $12 if you sign up for both clinics Water Exercise Classes- Join us for a low-impact workout entirely completed in the water. Morning classes meet in the warm-water pool for a work-out suitable for all ages and abilities. Evening classes meet in the lap-pool and do include entering into the deep end with floatation devices. Morning Time: M-F 9am-10am/ Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday 6pm-7pm Cost: $4 per class Arthritis Water Workout- This course is designed to be a suitable low-impact workout for anyone suffering from any immobility and inflexibility issues. Gain strength and reduce joint-pain with our Arthritis Water Workout offered through partnerships with the Arthritis Foundation. All classes are taught in the warm-water pool to provide maximum comfort. Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:45pm-5:45pm Cost: $4 per class A.C.E.- We are happy to introduce A.C.E., the Aquatic Cardio Exercise. This will be a total body workout in the lap pool that has multiple levels of energy and can be modified for most ability levels. This is the highest-intensity workout we offer at the pool for group fitness. Come ready to work! Time: Mondays 6pm-6: 45pm (Starting January 6th) Cost: $4 per class Swim Lessons- Lessons are available for all ages and abilities. Parent/Child 5pm, Level I 5:30pm, Level II 6pm, Level III 6:30pm, Level IV/V 7pm. Adult lessons are available pending interest. Time: January 8th-31st Tuesdays & Thursdays Cost: $40 per session Kayaking- Join us for a great new addition; Kayaking. If you want to get a great workout and learn some new skills, this is the event for you! All levels and abilities are welcome. Time: Wednesdays 7pm-8:30pm (Starting January 16th-30th) Cost: $18 if you bring your own gear; $30 if you need gear provided ** Please Pre-Register. Space is limited**

Personal Training- Now available from a certified instructor! Guidance and great workouts are available for all ages and abilities. Please contact the front desk or wccpr.aquatics@gmail.com for more information. Cost: $90 for three hours of instruction. The three hours will be divided as you and the instructor decide. Ex: 4 sessions of 45 minutes or 3 sessions of 1 hour. Mixed Level Morning Yoga- Start your day off right with a yoga class that will awaken and revive you and get your juices flowing. This class includes extended warm up followed by a series of poses that will stretch and strengthen your body Time: Every Wednesday 8am-9am Cost: Drop in $8, gym member drop in $6, 5 class pass $25 Senior Fitness: Mon, Wed, Thur10:00am Cost: FREE Zumba with Sharon - YOU are invited to Zumba! A Latin-inspired fitness class, it is high-energy with motivating music and dance moves drawn from salsa, merengue, and other Latin steps and free styles. It integrates some of the basic principles of aerobic, resistance, and interval training to tone and sculpt, burn fat, maximize caloric output, and benefit your heart and mind. Licensed Zumba instructor Sharon West has simplified the steps and put them together so that exercising feels like a dance party! This class is offered through partnership with Community Education. Time: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 6pm-7pm Cost: Free For The Month Of January! Usually $5 per class, every 5th class is free Co-Ed Winters Volleyball League- The league games will be every Monday starting January 7th. Registration is now through December 24th. A coaches meeting will be on December 27th at 6:30pm. The cost is $250 per team; Play will begin at 6pm and run through 8:30pm. Gym is open for practice 4pm-6pm January 6th & 20th. Come bring your child ages 3,4, or 5 to learn the fundamentals of soccer while having a great time and being active. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
