Inkaar makers start survey on sexual behaviour in office
Viacom 18, the production banner behind Arjun Rampal and Chitrangada Singh starrer Inkaar, has commissioned a nationwide research to find out sexual behavior in an office environment. They are reportedly spending around Rs.2 crore for the survey, and have asked a known research agency to facilitate it. Confirming the survey, a Viacom 18 spokesperson said in a statement: Yes, we have initiated a very big survey. It is an expensive affair. However, it will be worth it when results come. The survey will be conducted across six metros Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune and Chandigarh. Hard hitting questions will be put both to male and female respondents. Directed by Sudhir Mishra, Inkaar deals with sexual harassment at the workplace. Arjun plays the CEO of an advertising firm, while Chitrangada plays a copywriter. Well! Well! Well! It must be the biggest and happiest news for Punjabi Industry that a Punjabi movies remake will be done in Bollywood. The biggest blockbuster of Punjabi movies, Jatt and Juliet remake copyrights have been bought by Himesh Reshammiya and Rakesh Upadhyay, who just produced Akshay Kumar starrer Khiladi 786. So its looking quite obvious that Akshay Kumar will be the main lead in the movie. Punjabi Jatt and Juliet is considered to be the best movie of Punjabi Cinema for many reasons like Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwas career best acting, script and screenplay of the movie and many other things. One of the biggest reasons was the magical sequencing direction of the movie, for that reason, one more good news relates to the remake is, Anurag Singh will be directing the Hindi version of Jatt and Juliet, who was the director for Punjabi Jatt & Juliet. Seen as the next big thing in the film industry, Deepika Padukone, 26, has a busy year ahead as seen in t he public tussle over her availability for shoots. Cocktail (it's a working title so I don't want to call it that she clarifies) with Saif Ali Khan is almost over but three films will go on floors in quick succession this year. She herself is unruffled because 'when you are pas sionate you make it happen.'

What is the story around you and Race 2? I am doing the film and we need to figure out the dates. A lot of things have been said but that is because a certain reporting happens without getting facts right. Ramesh (Taurani) was a little nervous and that was made out to be something else. Did you also have issues with dates for Rana opposite Rajnikanth? The makers themselves have delayed the film and we are making a prequel instead Kochadaiyaan. Rana required a lot and was physically demanding. Rajnikanth was unwell last year and the doctors have also told him to take it easy so Rana will happen later. What's the most challenging role you are doing this year? My role in Cocktail is something I have never done before or thought I could do such a dark character. There are two characters in the film and Homi Adajania came to me with both roles. Imtiaz Ali who has written the script was the one who suggested that I be offered both. Meera is similar to Love Aaj Kal but the character i picked is very dark - she is lovable and warm but has been through a lot. She is not someone I could identify with and a lot of energy and emotion has gone into playing her. It's about friendship, betrayal and love. The promos will be out with Agent Vinod.

What are you looking forward to? This is a big year for me. I am really looking forward to Cocktail. I can't wait for July to see how audience takes to it. I have always wanted to work with Dharma and after I saw Ayan's work in Wake Up Sid I really wanted to work with him. I'm finally getting to work with him and Ranbir in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. Ranbir is supremely talented. Increasingly there are women in strong roles or as leads. If you were to do such a strong character how would you want it to be? My role of Veronica in Cocktail is a very strong character. There is a changing trend in our films and I am fortunate to be a part of this phase. I can see the transition since the last two years. If I had joined the industry now or even next year I wouldn't have seen it. How do you pick which brands to endorse? The brands do their own research and go to the celebrities who will have a connect to it. I should also be able to connect with it. The brand has to fit and reflect a certain part of my personality. It's not about the money, I should be able to convince myself. What do you feel about performing at events? I am not very comfortable about dancing at weddings and new year parties. Maybe it's because

of the way I have been brought up; I wouldn't want my family to feel that cringe moment. Dance is an art for me.

Says Dhulia, "The film is set in the 1840s and will be based on a Hindi novel. I wrote the script a few years ago. I am looking to rope in an international studio. You have performed Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in Race 2, something you have not done before... When I was offered Race 2, it reminded me of Dhoom (2004) minus the bikes. I missed the bikes, but the mind-blowing action in Race 2 makes up for it. I had to practice MMA with stunt director Peter Hein. Two Vietnamese fighters - Son and Tun - coached me for two months to get my kicks, flexibility and agility right. When I started rehearsing, for the first few days, I had tears in my eyes as my body went through excruciating pain. I'd scream dao (it means pain in Viatnamese), but they pushed me. I almost lost faith in myself, but didn't give up. What kept you going? I want to set a certain benchmark for raw action in Bollywood. I believe in stunts that are real and believable. I've done a cage fight in the movie without cables. This is my item song for Race 2 ! I have fought with a 300-pound South African professional fighter, Andrew, in the film. "The exhaustive 'story board' - the visual scenario, the styling were all ready," said Sandip Ray, son of late Satyajit Ray, recollecting how Panditji would always send for his father during his visits to the city. "I particularly remember one incident when my father was in

Ravi Shankar ji was also there and the moment he came to know that we were there, he called over the entire cast [which included Soumitra Chatterjee and Utpal Dutt]. I was very young then but I remember, the entire day was spent reminiscing and chatting. He also discussed his plans for a Music Academy in the city," Mr. Ray, also a film-director, told. Pandit Ravi Shankar had a special connection with Satyajit Ray and the association that began with 'Pather Panchali' (Song of the Road) continued through the two sequels, 'Aparajito' (Unconquered) and 'Apur Sansar' (The World of Apu), and another movie Paras Pathar (The Touchstone). "My father was very happy with the musical scores that Panditji composed for these movies, especially Pather Panchali, and it is that haunting tune which came to my mind foremost when I heard this sad news," Mr. Ray said. Panditji too had lot of warmth for Satyajit Ray and composed the album 'Farewell to a Friend' when he had passed away.

Kristen Stewart has made it official: there will be a Snow White and the Huntsman sequel. Now, Robert Pattinson must hope there won't be a sequel to Stewart's misguided love life, considering what happened the last time she was involved with this franchise. "It's gonna be f-ckin amazing. I'm so excited about it, it's crazy," Stewart told Indiewire of the follow-up film. "The other day I said that there was a strong possibility that we're going to make a sequel, and that's very true, but everyone was like, 'Whoa, stop talking about it.' So no, I'm totally not allowed to talk about it."

The singer announced that the Born Brave Bus Tour will tailgate outside her upcoming U.S. concerts and provide a space for 13to 25-year-olds to learn more about local resources on anti-bullying, suicide preventio n and mental health services. Her foundation focuses on youth empowerment and self-confidence.

Organizations like The Trevor Project, Campus Pride and the National Association of School Psychologists will assist on the bus. Participants will not need a ticket to the show to partake. The Born Brave Bus will be open ahead of each Gaga concert for several hours. The U.S. leg of the Born This Way Ball Tour kicks off Jan. 14 in Tacoma, Wash.
