"Happy New Year"
What will the year 2013 mean for the world...for America...for your fam il y. . . fo r you personally? No one knows the answer to those questions except God! But there is one thing we do know... and we can know it for sure! God has given us everything we need for this new year. Therefore we CAN be content with whatever happens...and we need NOT FEAR the future! During this new year, I Pray that you may have: enough happiness to keep you sweet--enough trials to keep you strong- - enough sorrow to keep you human--enough hope to keep you happy - - enough failure to keep you humble--enough success to keep you eager- - enough friends to give you comfort--enough wealth to meet your needs- - enough enthusiasm to make you look forward to tomorrow, & enough determination to make each day better than the day before.
May God Bless you as you face 2013, Bro. Ed Engel, Jr.

Volunteers Needed: We are still looking for volunteers to help with the childrens classes. If you feel the Lord leading you in this direction, please let Bro. Ed or Missy know as soon as possible. Since our childrens group has grown, the children will begin meeting in the classrooms upstairs. Our goal is to split the age groups for 2013. In order to do this we need as least 2 adults in each room to provide a safe sanctuary

Youth Reminder:
Area Youth Retreat to Gulf Shores, AL Friday night, January 18 Sunday morning, January 20 Leave FUMC at 4:00 pm

Grace will house & provide an evening meal to Sacred Heart University for George County Habitat for Humanitys Collegiate Challenge the week of January 6-12. Church-wide meal Sunday Night at 6:00 pm.

Sunday, January 6 at First UMC Meal 5:30 pm 6:00 pm Motivational Speakers will use Karate & Breaking of Boards to illustrate Christs love for us all to area Youth!
Sponsored by Area Youth Committee Leaders from First UMC, Grace UMC, & Winborn Chapel UMC

Rev. Mark Barfield will be the guest speaker and will deliver an in-house style Youth Retreat. Seven of our Youth have signed up to attend, so please be in prayer for them and their leaders this weekend. Those attending will need money for meals and any extra spending money.
