A. Observation Result on The First Harvest As has been mentioned before that the influence of cow and chicken manure on tomato plant is done on three harvest time. The first harvest is on April, 19 2012. The result of the activity as shown below:
TABEL 4.1. HARVEST I ORGANIC FERTILIZER CHICKEN MANURE COW MANURE NUMBER OF FRUIT/TREE 12 12 FRUIT DIAMETRE BIGGEST SMALLEST 4,56 4,5 3,85 4,53 FRUIT WEIGHT KG/BED 5 5,5
From this harvest there is no difference on the number of fruit per tree both on the tomatoes plants where chicken manure and cow manure is given. The difference is shown on the fruit diametre chicken manure ranged from 4,56 cm to 3,85 whereas cow manure ranged from 4,5 cm to 4,53 cm. Of course, it made a significant influence on the fruit weight about 500 grm from chicken manure bed and cow manure bed. In this case, it is proven that cow manure is more effective on growing the fruit and can give suplay of nutrient elements to the tree equally.
B. Observation Result on The Second Harvest The second harvest is on April, 22 2012. The result of the activity as shown below:
TABEL 4.2 HARVEST II FRUIT DIAMETRE NUMBER OF BIGGEST SMALLEST FRUIT/TREE 14 15 4,5 4,4 3,5 3,8
11
From this harvest there is a slight difference on the number of fruit per tree where the number of tomato from cow manure treatment produced more fruit than chicken manure one. There is also a slight difference on the fruit diametre. The fruit diametre which treated by chicken manure ranged from 4,5 cm to 3, 5 whereas cow manure ranged from 4,4 cm to 3,8 cm. If we compare with the first harvest, there is a slight decrease on the fruit diametre on cow manure tomatoes bed. However, the fruit weight from cow manure bed is heavier than chicken manure. There is 700 grama difference. This data reflects that cow manure is more effective on growing the fruit.
C. Observation Result on The Third Harvest The second harvest is on April, 25 2012. The result of the activity as shown below:
TABEL 4.3 HARVEST III FRUIT DIAMETRE NUMBER OF BIGGEST SMALLEST FRUIT/TREE 13 13 4,4 4,4 3,3 3,6
From the data above, there is no difference on the number of fruit per tree both on the tomatoes plants where chicken manure and cow manure is given. It is the same with the first harvest result. It is possible happen because it is the last harvest and the fruit production has reached its maximum level. If we look at the fruit diametre, there is also no difference on the biggest fruit diametre and there is a slight difference on the smallest fruit diametre about 0,6 cm. If we compare with the first harvest, there is a significance decrease on the fruit weight both on cow manure tomatoes bed. But, if we compare with the second harvest, there is a decrease on the fruit weight both on cow manure tomatoes bed. However, it is clear that cow manure is more effective on producing fruit. The effectiveness of cow manure on number of fruit per tree on three times harvest is indicated on thefollowing chart:
