WOMENS SOCCER EARNS NSC AA TEAM ETHICS AWARD

The Navy womens soccer team recently received the Team Ethics Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Navy is one of just six NCAA Division I programs to receive the Silver Award. The NSCAA Team Ethics Award recognizes programs that exhibit fair play, sporting behavior and adherence to the laws of the game, as reflected by the number of yellow caution cards or red ejection cards they are shown by referees throughout the season. Teams receiving the Silver Team Ethics Award must have had zero red cards and under five yellow cards for the entire 2012 regular season and postseason. Navy had zero red cards and just two yellow cards this past fall.
