SUMMER INTERNSHIP

Summer training in NTPC Ltd., Delhi on the project Performance Management System And Its Efficiency In NTPC from June-August 2011. o The project work comprise of study of the entire performance management system.

o Analyses its effectiveness for both organisation and the employees and drawn some measures for more effective and result oriented working of the PMS policy.

PROJECT UNDERTAKEN

A project on COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF ERGONOMIC CONDITIONS AT TCS AND OBC. Analysed the ergonomic conditions of both the organisation through questionnaires and suggested measures to improve. A project on KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT IN IT SECTOR. The project work comprises of study of the KMS in the organisation and suggested measures to improve it further. A project on HOW TO CURB SMOKING during the time of graduation. Analysed the factors which influence an individual to smoke and suggested ways to quit smoking.

ACTIVITIES/WORKSHOPS ATTENDED

Organised and participated in youth festival and college festival fest at DIAS. Industrial visit to Petroleum conservation research association (PCRA). Industrial visit to National Small industries corporation (NSIC).

AWARDS & ACHIEVEMENTS

Actively participated in the street play organized by DIAS and secured first position. Participated in junior national JUDO championship. Participated in all Dhanbad Kyokushin Karate Camp. Won inter-school poetry competition. Won 2nd prize in national school sports competition organised by Vidya Bharti.
