Jo Ryaku no Maki
(From the Tenryaku Uchu Gassho hand position, change to left Ichimonji no Kamae to begin. The meaning of Tenryaku Uchu Gassho is becoming one with Nature ~ entering a state of mu (emptiness.)
Koku
Uke and tori are in Ichimonji no Kamae. Uke strikes with jodan tsuki. Tori steps back to the right 45 degrees and counters with jodan uke Tori then does ken kudaki. Uke follows with a right kick. Tori steps out left and does a left keri kaeshi. As uke turns to his left, tori steps in with the left foot and does a left shito ken to butsumetsu. The technique's meaning is to make somebody kick empty space. What is important in this technique is leaving your body in a place that is easy for the enemy to kick. Also, there are three directions for stepping with the right foot depending on the distance.
Renyo
Uke and tori are both in ichimonji no kamae. Uke strikes with jodan tsuki. Tori steps back to the right, 45 degrees and does a left jodan uke, followed by a ken kudaki. Uke does a right kick to suigetsu. Tori does a keri kaeshi. Uke takes hold of toris lapel with his right hand. Tori steps back with the left foot , striking omote kitan ken to uko, performing ura gyaku on ukes right hand. The meaning of the technique is to tumble your opponent like a wheel. The important point of this technique is the locking method, but if the enemy escapes, use that to your advantage, kicking and simultaneously re-catching the opponent with Omote Gyaku and throwing.
Dan Shu
Uke grab hidari katate dori to toris sleeve and tsukis. Tori rotates grabbed hand to his chest, trapping ukes wrist in the fold of the elbow and jodan uke.. Strike omote kiten ken to kasumi and kick into kaku with foot and lean on arm to take to floor. The meaning of the technique is a bouncing Shuto. What is important in this technique is, after striking with the left fist, using that rebounding motion to strike with Shuto as though cutting
Dan Shi
Uke grabs hidari katate dori to toris right lapel and tsukis. Tori controls grabbing hand and jodan uke. Tori takes grabbing hand in omote gyaku. Strike shito ken into kimon and kick left kaku with right foot. Omote gyaku. The meaning of the technique is a bouncing finger (thumb). The important point here is after striking with the left fist, striking down from above into the Kimon with a turning motion of the wrist.
Saka Nagare
Both uke and tori are in ichimonji no kamae. Uke strikes with a right jodan tsuki and then a right zenpo geri. Tori avoids the tsuki by stepping back and left 45 degress with the left foot, catching ukes hand with his right. Tori avoids kick and does keri gaeshi changing ukes hand into toris left hand. Uke then tries to strike tori with a gedan tsuki into suigetsu. Tori counters with a right gedan uke and strikes with right omote kiten ken to right kasumi. Omote gyaku. The meaning of the technique is to reverse the flow. What is important in this technique is to strike the back of the enemy's hand when receiving to the outside, and when receiving the adversary's kick, to do so with a sideward swinging motion of your knee.
Keo
Uke grabs toris lapels ryote dori. Tori strikes with ryote shikan ken to kote and kakushi geri to suzu. Uke then strikes with jodan tsuki. Tori avoids back and right 45 degrees with right foot and jodan uke and attacks into kasumi with right ura kiten ken and zenpo geri into gorin. The technique's meaning is the appearance of a bird flapping its wings. The important point of this technique is, when striking down both the adversary's hands, to beat downwards in a large movement like a bird flapping its wings.

Keto
Uke and tori start in ichimonji no kamae. Uke jodan tsuki. Tori respomds with uke nagashi. Uke then zenpo geri. Tori responds with geri kaeshi. Uke sees the movement and retracts the leg and attacks with gedan tsuki with right hand. Tori shifts rear and right 45 degrees with gedan uke and strikes goshitanken to men and Sokuyaku geri in suigetsu or gorin The meaning of this technique is in the manner of knocking down a gate. What is important here is how you do the final kick. Essentially, you are putting your body weight onto the right foot and keeping it there in order to stomp the opponent right to the ground.
Yubi Kudaki
Uke grabs tori from behind by the collar. Tori responds by covering grabbing hand and sliding to the side striking fudo ken to men. Rotate under the grabbing hand to take ukes hand in hon gyaku. This technique's meaning is to crush the opponent's finger. The important point is to grasp the adversary's right little finger with your right hand while dropping your hips, and when the adversary pulls away slightly, not missing that timing to drive into his chest with your left fist.
Ketsu Miyaku
Uke takes sankaku jime. Tori responds by turning the head into the crook of the elbow and dropping weight. Toris left and takes ukes right wrist and right hand the left elbow. Straighten out ukes arm as you turn in for seionage. The meaning of the technique is to choke off blood flow. What is important in this technique is to cause pain before the opponent's Sankaku-Jime choke is fully applied and then throw
Sakketsu
Uke grabs from behind in a full nelson lock. Drop arms and body. Grab ukes hands and straighten them to the side. Step to one side and fu iri. The meaning of the technique is to squeeze to death. What is important here is to stick the arms out and push your hips back sufficiently.
Teiken
Uke attacks from behind with tai jime. Tori responds by dropping his weight, leaning a little forward, lifting the arms. Once arms are released step out to the side and throw with ganseki nage. The meaning of the technique is the appearance of a bull or horse kicking with its hooves. The important point of the technique is pulling your hips out far enough to the left side

U Jacku
Uke is in Ichimonji, Tori is in Jumonji. Uke tsukis with right hand and tori avoids to left outside the punch. With right Uke Nagashi take hold of Ukes right wrist. Uke then Zenpo Geri with the right foot to which tori responds with keri kaeshi.Tori then lifts Ukes right arm and strikes with a left ShitoKen to butsumetsu. Go under ukes arm and apply Omote Gyaku to the wrist and throw. The meaning of the technique is [to move] quickly, like a Korean crow(magpie). The important point in this technique is, when slipping in under the adversary's arm, to get one's body low and simultaneously to stick with one's back against the opponent.
Seito
Uke attacks with right tsuki, right zenpo geri and left tsuki. Tori responds with left jodan uke, right gedan uke right uke nagashi. Take hold of Ukes left wrist and strike with omote kitan ken into left uko. Take hold of shoulder and otoshi with O Gyaku. The name of the technique means a Saba (mackerel). Moving with speed and power. What is important in this technique is that when you grab the adversary's shoulder with your right hand, you reach across with the intention of using Metsubushi (attacking the eyes).
Da Shin
Uke has kodachi and strikes from behind. Tori is in shizen and anticipates the strike and moves to the right, keeping the hand hand out to catch ukes right hand. Right kiten ken to kote and take ukes hand in omote gyaku turning to face him. Uke then kicks with zenpo geri. Tori responds with geri gaeshi moveing to the left and throws uke with omote gyaku. This technique's name means to jolt and pull down. The important point here is in striking the adversary's thumb with Shuto when knocking his short sword down.
Ko Rai
Uke attacks with kodachi with jodan kiri. Tori is in Hadari Ichimonji no kamae. Tori moves left with left foot to avoid the strike and stops attack by placing the left forearm under ukes right elbow. Left ura kitan ken to kasumi. Catch wrist with right hand, go under ukes right arm and otoshi with omote gyaku. Finish with sokuyaku geri to men. This technique means to throw down a tiger. The important point of the technique is the same as in the previous technique Ujaku
Ko/Hanetsurube
Uke and tori are in hadari ichmonji no kamae. Uke attacks with migi jodan tsuki. Tori moves right and rear with right foot and uke nagaeshi, catching right wrist. Uke then attacks with right zenpo geri. Keeping hold of wrist, tori moves left and forward catching kick with right gedn uke. As well as moving forwar streach ukes right hand out behind him to off balance him. Turn to left to throw. The meaning of the technique's name is to use leverage. What is important in this technique is that you not try to catch the adversary's kicking leg on your arm, but instead place it onto your shoulder.
Shien
Uke is in Ichimonji no kamae with kodachi. Tori is in shizen with his back to uke. Tori anticpates the strike and moves to his left taking hold of ukes right wrist with his left and stirking nagare with right kitan ken. Uke attacks with right zenpo geri. Tori responds with right keri gaeshi moving to the right. Lift ukes right arm, step under and lock wrist and arm. Otoshi. This technique's name means strength and cleverness (a lion and a monkey). The important point in this technique is, when kicking the adversary's right kick (Keri Kaeshi) with your right leg, to kick upward using the momentum of a spinning motion with the body

GERYAKU NO MAKI
(From Han-o Han-eki Gassho Mizu-Juji, change to Ichimonji no Kamae. The meaning of Han-o Han-eki Gassho is gaining a large advantage by not trying to match the opponent's movements.)
Shun U
Uke is in Batto no kamae with daisho. Tori is in shizen. Uke starts to draw. Tori steps forward with the left foot stopping draw with left hand. Right hand strikes ganmendori. Right hand draws daito and tsukis to suigetsu steeping through with the right foot. The meaning of the technique is to be swift like a falcon. The important point of this technique is to thrust into the base of the opponent's nose with a right Boshiken and at the same time press against the grip of his sword.
Shun Soku
Uke is in batto no kamae with daisho. Tori is in Shizen. Uke starts to draw. Tori steps forward with the left foot and takes hold of the tsuka with the left hand.Uke then strike to toris kasumi with right kitan ken. Tori moves forward and right to take hold of the basu of the saya with the right hand and ukes left wrist with the left hand. Fu Iri to take down. The meaning of this name is footwork that is as quick as a falcon. What is important here is to take a step in while pushing down with the left hand which is controlling the sword handle
Ichi Geki
Uke is in Dai Jodan no kamae. Tori is in Hanin no Kamae. Uke attacks with tenchi giri. Tori responds with mogurigata placing both palms under the elbows. Right shito ken to suigetsu, followed my a kakushi geri to suzu. Otoshi. This technique's meaning is to shoot down the adversary with a single blow. The important point in this technique is to push the opponent's right elbow up high enough to disbalance him while entering into the next motion.
Kai Soku
Uke is in Daijodan with daito and a kodachi in his belt. Uke cuts tenchi giri. Tori is in gassho. Tori responds with right Keri gaeshi to right arm knocking out sword. Uke tried to draw the kodachi. Tori places left hand on kashira. Then grabs tsuka with left hand and strikes ura kitan ken to kasumi. Grab ukes right elbow with the left hand and right shoulder with the right. Osoto with right leg. Draw kodachi when on ground and cut uke. The name of the technique means superior footwork. In this technique, what is important is to bounce the opponent over with 0-Soto in the process of putting down your right foot after kicking up with it.

Iai Fu
Uke is in batto no kamae. Tori is in Hanin no kamae. Uke draws daito and goes into dai jodan and attacks with tenchi giri.. Tori uses mogurigata and steps in to catch sword at handle. Right shito ken to butsumetsu and right zenpo geri to koe. The technique's meaning is to match the opponent's energy and envelop him. What is important in this technique is to keep your left fist directly above your head when you receive the opponent's Daijodan so you are not hit in the top of the head with the handle of the sword.
Chin Gan
Uke is in Chudan no kamae with daito and attacks with a tsuki. Tori is in jumonji no kamae. Tori responds to the attck by moving forward and left, catching ukes right hand with right hand while dropping to the left knee. Left fudo ken to right kote. Stand taking hand in omote gyaku and otoshi. The meaning of this technique's name is to lower your posture like a wild goose coming down. The important thing in this technique is to get low enough when turning to the left and sinking down, building up strength and then making the next movement
Fumo
Uke is in Dai Jodan no kamae with daito. Tori is in ichimonji no kamae. Uke attacks with tenchi giri. Tori avoids forward and to the right. Take hold of the tsuba with right hand and strike left ura kitan ken to hi ryu ran. As striking the eyes take the sword away. Regrip and cut to ukes butsumetsu. The name of this technique means a big wind. The important point here is that the right and left hands make a large and simultaneous opening movement.
