Later this year the A380 is coming to Russia, for MAKS’2011 airshow in August. The world’s biggest
passenger jet comes to the world’s largest country by territory – this seems to be a very symbolic case.
Firstly, the A380, after 3.5 years of revenue service and a difficult initial operations period behind
it, is now mature enough. Secondly, the Russian air transportation system – comprising airlines and
