Pronouncing the expressions of telling time correctly. 2. Expressing expression for asking time in an appropriate way. 3. Expressing expression for asking time in an appropriate way. 4. Using the expressions of asking and telling time in a daily conversation. D. Learning Objective: At the end of the lesson, students are able to use the expressions of telling time in a conversation accurately, fluently, and appropriately.

F. Teaching and Learning Activities Set Induction Greeting (Teacher greets students.) T: Good morning, class. How are you all today? S: Good morning, Maam. Im fine, thank you . . . and you? T: Im very well, thank you. Prayer (Teacher and students say a prayer.) Well. . Before we start our lesson today, lets pray together! Amen . . . Checking attendance

(Teacher checks the students attendance.) Is the whole class here? Preparing the class condition (Teacher prepares the class condition.) T: Could you help me to clean the whiteboard, Alida? S: . . . T: Thank you. Alright, Its time to start our English lesson. Lead in Is everybody ready to start? I hope you are ready for your English lesson today. Well, what time is it now Maya?Today, we are going to learn expression to tell time.

Main Activity A. Presentation (demonstration) Teacher explains the expressions of telling time (Well, Ill show you the expressions of telling time. Ill read aloud it first and then please repeat after me.) Teacher continues drill and drill!

B. Practice Task 1

(If you dont have any questions, Ill give you another sample. I have some pictures for you. Well, your job is in pairs find the expressions of telling time that suits with the pictures.

Task 2 Teacher asks students to show the time that is told by the teacher.

Task 3 Teacher gives another task to the students and asks them to make a dialogue dialogue about asking and telling time with their own words.

(Well, we move to another. Please make a dialogue with your own words.Do it with your partner.)

Closing Activity Summarizing (Teacher and students summarize the whole lesson.) That's all for today. So, what have you learnt today?

Reflection (Teacher and students do a reflection.) How do you feel about our discussion today? Is it difficult?

Further guidance (Teacher gives students homework.) Once more before we quit,for next meeting, in pairs please make a dialogue including expression of expressing time.
