The Governing body and myself are always looking for exceptional professionals. We are looking to appoint the absolute best - people with a track record or the potential to make significant contributions in making teams work and helping young people succeed. The person we are looking for will need a broad range of skills and qualities, and be a role model for students and staff alike. The post advertised demands a person with an unrelenting drive and ambition to support young people in succeeding. The post also requires someone with the ability to demonstrate tenacity in seeing things through and be a noticeable positive presence in the school. Most importantly, the people appointed will be able to look at the status quo and, with creativity, develop better ways of doing things to have positive impact on students' attainment and life chances. Is this a lot to ask? We have high ambitions. If you do too, come and work with us. If you are interested in a school that is small enough to be recognised in, but big enough for children to flourish, come and speak with us about how you can impact the achievement of the young people at Stretford High School. You are most welcome to visit the school to get a feel for who we are and what we stand for. Visits in advance of the stated application date are welcome but strictly by appointment only. Please contact hadshead@stretfordhigh.com or call 0161 876 1850 if you wish to make an appointment. If you wish to contact me for a telephone conversation about the role advertised you can also contact me on the number above. Kind regards,

Mr. J Haseldine. MEd. BEd Hons. NPQH Headteacher.
