No school MondayHappy MLK Day! We are collecting pop tabs and pennies for the Pennies for Patients program! Please return conference forms signed by Friday 1/25- I have already given times to those who have returned them (will send out soon) Children in the Cultural Arts Day Friday the 25th! 1

Theme Question: What can I learn when I explore the outdoors? Focus Question of the Week: How can we take care of nature? Sight Words: has my Fiction Text: Look Everyone! and The World Around Us Letters: working on sounds A-Z (www.starfall.com) Phonological Awareness: phoneme blending and segmenting- hearing 3 sounds and blending them together to make a word and breaking words into their sound parts Poem for Fluency: Fish Tales Word Families: example: -am family: ham, cam, sam Vocabulary review: seasons weather resources world Comprehension: using first sound to figure out difficult words Log-on at home: www.wglead21.com (I am always happy to resend usernames and passwords!) Take Home Book system is up and going! Please read your childs book with them until they are fluent and then send it back with the form completed for a new one! Must be signed- thank you!
