Pastor Nelson Anthony Henry


Nelson Anthony Henry is a native of Detroit, Michigan. He received his education in the Detroit Public Schools System. His next stop was Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA where he was very involved. He was named the preachers preacher on campus by his peers. Academically, he graduated magna cum laude, a member of Golden Key National Honors Society, a member of Phi Beta Kappa, president of Kappa Delta Epsilon, Beta Psi Chapter, a national education fraternity, and the top-ranking senior in his class in his major, Education/Child Development. From The HOUSE, Nelson went on to earn a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Oakland University of Rochester, MI as a King/Chavez/Parks (KCP) Fellow. In his spare time, his hobbies include reading, sports, music, and creative concepts. In addition, Nelson loves studying the Bible. He is an ordained minister of twenty years and has preached and taught all over the country. During his career, he has served as the project director at the Detroit Lions Academy, an alternative middle school. There, he was responsible for planning field trips, coordinating volunteer organizations, facilitating school wide assemblies, and fundraising and development. He has taught in the Detroit Public Schools System. Also, he has been a Language Arts Instructor in the Wayne County Community College District Adult Education Department. Currently, he teaches in the Inkster Public Schools System and lectures at Eastern Michigan University in the Teacher Education Department. Moreover, Nelson is the senior pastor and founder of Faith Central Church, a multicultural congregation. Lastly, he is CEO/Founder of Charisma Circle, LLC, the premier multi-dimensional leadership, teambuilding, and personal growth and development organization of excellence in that he fulfills his passion as a life coach to help develop purpose-driven people. Pastor Henrys personal theme of 2013 is: Marked for Greater!
