General Information
Our firm, Protek Proje Design Consulting and Engineering Ltd., is one of the Turkey's leading Istanbul based Highway & Infrastructure Designer and Supervision Consultant. Established over twenty (20) years ago, the company has grown into multi-discipline design operations, throughout Istanbul, Anatolia, Middle East , North Africa, Central Asia and Balkan Countries. We have international business experiences in various works with British, German, Albanian, Romanian, Sudanese, for the last seven years with Iraqi engineers and for the last three years with Turkmenistan and Libyan engineers. Protek Proje uses the latest licensed software and hardware technologies. We use the design software PROYOL in our projects. Its a fast, reliable and user-friendly software operating under AutoCAD, which was developed by Protek Proje. Our IT Specialists developed this software based on Clients and Designers requests and requirements.

Description of actual services provided in the assignment: The KORA - SHAQLAWA - QANDEEL HIGHWAY forms one link planned to facilitate efficient road travel across Erbil to Iran Border. In order to maximize the expected benefits to users a consistently high design standard should apply throughout the route. The rote has been designed in three lots.The Kora-Shaqlawa Section is 9.2 km, Shaqlawa-Harir Junction Section is 13.3 km, and Harir Junction-Qandeel is 28.1 km long. Description of actual services provided in the assignment: The project includes the Engineering & Design Works of 38.5 km (2x2) Highway Rehabilitation and Widening works. The Client attended for using the World Bank Fund saved for rehabilitation of this route, which has importance of connecting Erbil to Kirkuk. We carried out the both design and contract management works on behalf of the Client, and arranged meetings in Istanbul with the Client and World Bank authorities.
