Additional Skills I hold a full driving license Relevant Experience: 2010.2011 Radio Brunel: Disc Jockey This required me to work under pressure for the entire duration of the hourly radio show, to meet strict standards and guidelines, and high personal standards. It also developed my communication skills further as I had to maintain the listeners interest and also listen to instruction and questions from co-presenters and producers. Brunel University: Student Ambassador I regularly work showing prospective students around the University keeping to strict deadlines to enable the smooth running of open days. I also attend education fairs to promote Brunel. Being a Student Ambassador requires me to work with a large variety of people from differing cultural backgrounds, and it is necessary that I communicate to people in a friendly and clear manner. This opportunity has improved my time management, organisational and leadership skills. Brunel University: International food fair After a tough selection process, I was chosen to represent Great Britain at the University International food fair. This required me to cook large quantities of food for 600 people, cooking my own British recipes and showcasing British ingredients. All food preparation met strict health and safety standards, and

all 600 portions were sold out in a record 45 minutes. This was my first experience of a professional kitchen environment where I had to maintain the highest standards throughout service whilst keeping to strict time constraints. I also had the opportunity to lead a team of two helpers who aided in cooking, making sure they knew the recipes and maintained my personal standards. Education: 2010.2013 Brunel University, London- BA Modern Drama Studies (Pending) My academic studies have developed my teamwork, leadership and communication skills through working daily on group projects and performances, taking on a leadership role such as director, and engaging in weekly seminars and debates. Performing regularly has also honed my skills of working under intense pressure for long periods of time, achieving work of the highest standard. 2008-2010 Invicta Grammar School, Maidstone A-Levels Four A levels A*-C English literature (B), Drama (B) General studies (B) Philosophy and Ethics (C) 2003-2008 Bennett Memorial Diocesan School, Royal Tunbridge Wells 10 GCSEs A*-C including double English (B/A), Mathematics (B), Triple Science (A/C/C) Drama (A*) Interests and Activities: Food is my passion. I cook everyday and I am not afraid to experiment with new and different ingredients to create new dishes, or to return to my old recipes to hone and refine them. I relish the thrill of trying new foods of different cultures. I constantly research ways to expand my culinary skills by watching cookery programmes, reading new recipes in books and online, and practising essential techniques including knife skills and pastry work. I have strong views regarding food ethics and welfare, which is shown through my promotional work of Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstalls fish fight to my blog readers, family, and friends. I am actively involved in promoting the importance of eating sustainable meats such as offal and wild Rabbit, and also have a keen interest in working with fresh seasonal vegetables, which I also promote through my online blog. I avidly follow Formula One. I am interested in every aspect of it from the mechanics to the technique of driving. I regularly keep myself updated with any news, I watch each race when broadcasted, and I attended last years Italian Grand Prix, which also provided me with the opportunity to visit some fantastic, family run Italian restaurants. I am the official photographer for the Brunel Drama Society, photographing workshops and performances. This has spurred me on to perfect the use of a camera and how to take photos of a professional standard. I have a keen interest in wildlife photography.
