Why do we need skip platforms?


Wheelbarrows, donkey carts etc. cannot unload over edges higher than 1 ft For achieving a reasonable volume containers (skips) must have a certain height
Two basic alternatives to fill a container with a reasonable (> 1 m) height:

Solid waste inventories for all six cities


Data collection performed between June and October Documentation of all (~ 550) formal present solid waste collection and disposal points Registration by means of GPS First aim of these inventories was to define the number and type of skip platforms for a tender ready to start Electronic database (Google Earth maps) of said inventories will be made available as planning and documentation tool for our SW managers
