Pro-Brockport is holding a photography contest for the

2014 Picture Brockport Calendar.

If your picture is chosen to be published, as 1 of the 12 pictures of the month or the cover photo, you will receive a complimentary copy of the calendar.
Who can enter? This contest is open to everyone. How do I enter the contest?

Each photographer can submit up to 3 photos in the contest. Photo(s) submitted must be your own and you must be willing to give us the rights to publish the photo(s) in the calendar. Please submit photos in JPG format - Minimum suggested file size is 2mb Photo will be printed: 12 wide by 10 tall at 300dpi Photos must be horizontal or landscape in orientation and taken within the village limits of Brockport. Please submit an entry form along with each photo. Model Release Statement: Any adult or youth who is recognizable in the photo will need to sign and submit a Model Release with each photo entered. If a minor (under age 18) is in the photo, the signature MUST come from their parent or guardian. If the adult or parent/guardian will not sign the Model Release, then do not submit the photo into the contest. How do I submit my photos? Please email all submissions to probrockport.org@gmail.com Be sure to put 2014 Calendar Contest in the subject line. If the photo(s) are too large to email, feel free to send a link to where it/they can be downloaded (e.g. picasa, dropbox, etc). If you are not sure of the sizing, submit them and we will contact you if there is a problem. A confirmation email will be sent to all email entries. When is the contest deadline? Entries will be accepted beginning February 1, 2013 and must be received by September 1, 2013, in order to be considered. How will the photos be selected for the calendar? A panel will be formed to select the photos for the calendar. Photographers with selected photos will be contacted by mail, phone or email and will receive a complimentary calendar. Pro-Brockport reserves the rights to use an electronic copy of any image entered in the contest for promotional purposes with credit to the photographer. For example, photos may be used for displays, publications, and website. For sizing purposes, photos may be edited. Do you have any questions or suggestions about the contest? Then let us know!
