First of all this workshop is divided into a few sessions.

So basically we started the workshop with an introduction from Yuveneswaran. He explained the team members name and also the title of the presentation, which is Baby dumping. After the introduction Yuveneswaran continue with his part which is Definition. Yuveneswaran mentioned that baby dumping is a social crisis and has a chronic increase as many cases are occurring in the society. The baby dumping issue arise when the woman had her unplanned pregnancy and been pressured by the question about the status of the child. Beside they may feel that they are not yet ready for his responsibility. Yuveneswaran also mentioned that women who are get unwanted pregnancy and lack of knowledge or information may be unaware of the possibilities of foster care or adoption tends to commit this unethical behavior. After Yuveneswaran finished his speech, Nicole came to take over. So Nicole continued the workshop with her talk which is Cause of baby dumping. Nicole explained with details of cause of baby dumping. Most of the audience was concentrating when Nicole started her speech. She also mentioned about it is better be in the opposite way of thinking together how to help them, and provide the motivational support that they need. Later then, Shanthini continues by talking her part which is Case study. She mentioned about what is happening to our society nowadays and she said that if the baby dumping problem continuously occurs Malaysia will become an ill society. We are proud of living in harmonious life even though with the varieties of races and the diversity of religions. Then she gave some example on baby dumping for the case study. She mentioned that after dropping from 102 cases in 2008 to 79 in 2009, the figure increased to 91 and 98 in 2010 and 2011 respectively. Chin Loon then talked about his part about the topic which is Impact of baby dumping. He gave 3 effects of baby dumping which are effects of individual, effects on baby, and effects on society. He gave some of the examples for each of the effects. After he gave all the examples for the 3 effects, he showed a video to everyone which the video named Impact of baby dumping. The video showed that after the babies are being dumped what will happen to the society. After Chin Loon finished his speech, Shin Chian came and took over. So Shin Chian continued with his speech which is Action taken by government. He gave some examples for the action taken by government. He also mentioned that government should develop more centers for mothers and babies that will make women feel safer and more secure to seek help and support. Then Melvin come up with a conclusion. After the conclusion, he decided to come out with a Q&A session. Whoever answered his questions correctly will receive a free lollipop. For those who cannot answer his question wont be able to receive a lollipop. After the Q&A session we gave around applause to our audience for listening and participating for the game.
