"Have A Heart" Award

It takes a big heart to work in the field of recovery, where counselors care for clients who have suffered some of the most difficult things life has to offer. In September, as part of L.A. CADAs Rally 4 Recovery, program participants had the opportunity to vote for their favorite L.A. CADA employee, group leader, intern, or staff member. When the votes were tallied, the staff member who was seen as going above and beyond the call of duty on behalf of clients was Ms. Jill Seither. Jill has been a substance abuse counselor with L.A. CADA for the last four years. Prior to that she was a program participant herself as well as a counselor trainee. Her coworkers also highly respect her contributions to the program and value her as a special person who truly deserves to be highlighted. When Jill received her award at the agencys general staff meeting on October 26, 2012, she was visibly touched. With tears in her eyes, I Jill said, this is an awesome recognition- I feel so honored! Congratulations Jill!!
