Camping Trip Anyone?
The Derricks, Nobises and VanWagners are going to Big Bend National Park for a week, leaving on or about Apr. 28 or 29. We'll be pulling our RV trailers and probably staying in the Rio Grande Village Campground (where tent camping is also available). (The Derricks will then spend the following week at the Davis Mts. State Park in Ft. Davis looking at stars and birds.) If anyone is interested in joining us, contact any of us for more details. Paul Derrick, et al.

Need a new friend?

Our friends, Bob Harvey and Melanie Witherspoon, were kind enough to offer refuge to a pregnant stray dog in hopes of giving the dog and her puppies a chance at a good humane life. The five pups (males and females) are now old enough to look for good homes. The mother is a smaller breed, and the puppies appear to be part bull dog, pit bull, or mastiff. Contact Bob at 753-1212 if youre interested in adopting a pup. They will be free to good homes.
