There are two basic types of artificial intelligence design, strong and weak AI. Strong AI would create machines exactly modeled after the human mind in both form and function. Weak AI would create machines only as intelligent as maximizes their efficiency. The ethical implications of creating either type of AI and how this might affect humans and utility are herein examined.
