Introduction:
In any form of promotion it is essential to consider the USP (Unique Selling Point); personal promotion is no different. You will each have aspects of your characters and personalities that make you unique. Tell us about them!

Brief:
1. Find a partner and conduct a SWOT analysis by identifying their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. 2. Once you have identified their unique selling points; prepare a 5 min presentation on PowerPoint, using images where appropriate to promote your partner to the class. 3. Alongside this, you must create one piece of packaging and a brand logo that represents your partner.

You can use whatever computer package that you feel comfortable with at the stage. There will be basic Photoshop and Illustrator tutorial to those who would like to have a go. The only constraint is that it has to be produced on computer and then printed off professionally. You will need to track your development in a working sketchbook. Each project requires an individual working sketchbook. This will include documenting any research notes, ideas, sketches, printouts etc. It is also good practice to keep a reflective journal/ blog; this should be kept up to date for each project throughout the semester- including what your have done/ when and the rationale behind each design decision, and an evaluation. You must use the reflective journal as a time management tool; this will be checked on a weekly basis. This is not compulsory for this project but will be in the future.
