    Essential: Developing and maintain the spirit of nationality. Objectives 1. Learning the history of Indonesian Independence Day and its value

    6 Outcomes
    Compare and contrast the changes before and after Independence Day ( it could be based on specific areas, for example: education, the development of the country, the culture, etc) Design a project which requires working collaboratively and analyze how working collaboratively is important.
    Social Studies HISTORY Construct and interpret charts, graphs, and narrative of historical data. Determine the credibility and bias of primary and secondary sources. Analyze cause and effect relationship s between and among individual and /or historical events. Bahasa Indonesia

    Morning Meeting English B. Indonesia Social Studies DAY 1 ( Monday, August 8 , 2011) _ _ PDR

    The students are introduced to the history of Indonesia and Sukarno # Teacher introduces Independence Day # Teacher introduces vocabulary that will related to the event (independence) # Make countdown chart. T explains what they are going to do during this event. Day 1: Class activity Day 2: Class activity Day 3: Class activity Day 4: Guest Visit Day 5 : Reflection

    DAY 2 (Tuesday, August 9 , 2011) The students finish Siswa mendengarkan Students make filling out the teks tentang comparison about the symbols of perjuangan rakyat development of Pancasila and read Indonesia melawan Indonesia before, about the history of penjajah. during, and after Indonesia around Kemudian mereka the time of Independence Day. berdiskusi tentang Independence. nilai-nilai perjuangan yang dapat diambil sebagai seorang siswa.

    Teacher tells a story the heroes who struggle for Indonesian Independence Day. Day 3 (Wednesday, August 10 , 2011) Teacher introduces the Indonesia Independence Day song, Indonesia Raya. Teacher and students sing the song together. Teacher and Students discuss about the meaning of Indonesia Raya. Teacher reminds students
