Management in a Healthcare Environment. The session was presented by two consultants from the Deloitte healthcare practice who shared their extensive knowledge and experience with the group. Building upon the information presented in last years project management session, EHL members were able to dive deeper into the project management world and explore concrete examples of how project management is becoming a much needed and highly sought after skill to health care delivery organizations. EHL members were able to immediately apply the knowledge presented through break-out group discussions on a case that was presented. This allowed the attendees to work with other EHL members and discuss various approaches, tools, and techniques used by Project Managers on healthcare related projects. The night concluded with a presentation by the President of the Project Management Institute Northern Alberta Chapter (PMINAC) that covered the step by step process and requirements for obtaining the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. The EHL Edmonton Executive would like to thank the members who attended and the presenters who volunteered their time to share their experiences.
