Glaze N Seal Slate Sealer Fact Sheet Fast Drying Medium Sheen Slate Sealer Formulated specifically for Slate, Flagstone and Quarry tile PRODUCT DESCRIPTION A clear acrylic water base finish designed to protect and beautify slate, flagstone and quarry tile. Glaze N Seal Slate Sealer protects against all organic stains including cooking oil, grease and beverages. It may be used indoors or outdoors and is extremely easy to apply and maintain. USES Water seals, protects and improves appearance of all slate, flagstone and quarry tile. Use indoors and outdoors. Low sheen appearance eases cleanup. May be used as grout release. FEATURES Repels oil and grease stains Nonflammable No harmful vapors Cleans up with water Easy to apply Water repellent Reduce efflorescence Recoatable Non-yellowing PREPARATION All surfaces must be free of efflorescence, dirt, oil, wax, grease and defective paints or sealers. If muriatic acid is used, all acid residues must be removed prior to application of sealer. Do not allow acid to dry. Use Glaze N Seal Neutralizing Rinse to neutralize surface before sealing. STORAGE: STORAGE Do not allow to freeze. SPECIFICATIONS BASE: Aqueous Acrylic Co-Polymer CoTUKON HARDNESS: +6.0 FRICTION LEVEL: Excess 6.3 GLASS TRANSITION POINT: 34C DENSITY: 8.58 pounds per gallon REFRACTIVE INDEX: Approx. 1.4077 APPEARANCE: Milky White Dries Clear APPLICATION Apply two or more coats of sealer (do not allow it to puddle). Make sure each coat is dry to the touch before applying second coat; usually one to two hours. Allow additional drying time in moist, cool climates. It can be applied with a sponge mop, lambs wool applicator or sprayequipment dependent on porosity and roughness of surface. Clean tools with water before sealer dries. Apply between 55F and 80F. If it is necessary to apply sealer on a warm day in direct sunlight, slightly dampen the surface to be sealed with a fine spray of water prior to application of the sealer. Allow 72 hours curing time against heavy moisture and bulk water. Sealer will continue to gain strength for up to one week. Note: Always test a small area of surface to be sealed to verify penetration and satisfaction of sealed appearance. COVERAGE 100 to 600 square feet per gallon depending on the porosity of the surface. MAINTENANCE

Glaze N Seal Floor Polish is recommended as a protective finish over the sealer (indoors only). This will protect the sealer and extend sealer life significantly. Sweep and damp mop floor frequently.
