ADAM AND EVE

SCENE 1
{God has just finished creating the first two humans, i.e. Adam and Eve, who are believed to have procreated other humans, which through further endless procreations have spawned the whole six billion human population today. God has summoned Good and Evil whom God had created earlier when he created the world. Since then, he had put them aside for a purpose } God: Ah, so this is the end of the final phase of the creation of this world. Behold there. I have fitted the last piece, the humans. Here are the great Adam and Eve, the progenitors of the great human race. The race which will rule the roost forever and ever. The most glorious creation of mine - THE HUMANS. Evil: Yes almighty, I see it. But what have we been called for? God: You both are here because the time has come. Time for both of you to fulfill the purpose for which you exist, for which I created you. Good: Whats that? I remember that this is the very moment which you said would be when you will be unveiling the secret, when you will tell us the purpose of our existence. God: Yes, I created both of you for a purpose. You two are the integral parts of this world that I have created. Without you two, this world would be a vast single coloured expanse with no variations. The world would remain the same, forever and ever. The purpose of you two is to induce indecisiveness, variability and irregularity in this world. Even you two are incomplete without each other. Evil: How is that? God: If I let anyone of you to assimilate and blend in the world but not the other, there would be too much stability or instability. Suppose I let Good to assimilate in this world,

then there would be no wars, no clashes, no disputes, no quarrels, no conflicts and there would be too much stability. I did this mistake the previous time and I had to destroy and wipe out that world. That was even more stunning and splendid creation than this Earth that is before your eyes now. But a diminutive error led to the annihilation of the whole of that world. Thats why this time I have created a counterpart of Good, and thats you Evil, you. There would be clashes between you and Good and that would maintain a balance in this world and this would prevent this world from becoming lopsided with good or evil. Hope that this world that I have created now lasts longer than the previous one. Good: So, wont this world last forever? God: No, certainly not. There will always be a little probability of one of you outdoing the other, or even wiping the effect of the other. That would make this world lopsided. When the lopsidedness exceeds a limit, I will have to destroy this Earth also. So thats what you have been created for. Its time to fulfill your purpose. You two will now go to Adam and Eve. They will have an option to absorb anyone of you in their bodies or to set you free. If they absorb anyone of you in, the one of you who gets absorbed will have his existence confined only to the living parts of one of Adam and Eve who absorbs you in. He will exist nowhere else. Evil: So, if Eve absorbs me in, will I die if Eve dies? God: Listen carefully. The one of you, who is absorbed, gets his survival restricted only to the living parts of the absorber. Nothing more I can tell you in this regard, at this moment. The answer to this question will impulsively come to both of your minds on its own, while you are on the way to them. If anyone of you is not absorbed by them and is set free, he will mingle and merge with every element of nature except Adam and Eve. One more thing, be it Adam or Eve, both of them can absorb in only one of you. Good: Do Adam and Eve know about these decrees that you have mentioned? God: No, the one who first reaches them will tell them about these decrees. They will surely ask questions to you about you two, since they are totally ignorant of you and the purpose of your existence. The first five questions that come from their side have to be correctly answered by you twoFIRST FIVE, because this world is composed of five elements namely Earth, water, fire, sky and air and those five questions of theirs have

something to do with these elements...SO, REMEMBER THE FIRST FIVE You can answer the rest of the questions the way you wish..NOW DEPART!!!

SCENE 2
{Adam and Eve are sitting in a garden. Eve is eating an orange while Adam is watching her eat. Out of the blue, Evil appears and lands before them. Adam and Eve are flinched in shock and cuddle together.} Adam: Who.who are you? Evil: Great Adam, DO NOT FEAR EVIL IS HERE Adam: (roaring in awe) Who are you??? Evil: I tell you again, DO NOT FEAR ME COME NEAR ME I am Evil..created by Gods will.one of the four integral components which would build this world. You two are the other two, and the last one is my friend Good who will arrive soon. We have been sent by God. Adam: Integral componentsDont get into silly talks.....how can we be the integral components of this world? I dont understand. You are getting on my nerves. Tell me your purpose.what have you come for? And who the hell is Good? Evil: With the creation of you two, God has finally brought the world into the form that he had the vision of. But something still remains to be done. He had created me and Good, my counterpart so that someday when he creates the great Adam and Eve, he

lets me and Good to assimilate in this world with your help, and this would actually complete the creation of the world in the true sense. At this moment, the creation of world is complete only in tangible sense. But me and Good, the intangible components, that are of vital importance, and without whom this world wouldnt survive, have still not mingled with the world. And we need your cooperation to get it done. This is what we have been made for..this is why we exist.this is Gods will. Adam: (getting tense) How can we cooperate you? What are we supposed to do? Evil: Easy Adam easy. We all are honoured that God chose us to initiate the inception of this world. My brother Good would turn up anytime. Now, this is what you both are supposed to do. Both of you have the option of absorbing anyone of us into your bodies or setting us free. One can absorb in, only one of us. You see it, there is one-to-one correspondence. It may be the case that you both decide to set both of us free or both of you absorb both of us into yourself on a one to one basis, thus setting none of us free. Eve: What actually absorbing in or setting free means? What consequences will absorbing you or setting you free would bring about? Evil: The one who is set free will assimilate and merge with all the other elements of this nature except you two. All other elements include everything..birds, elephants, ocean, the Sun, sky, the stars, all the animals and everything you can think of. For instance, if you set Good free, all of the nature would be filled up with goodness. But the one of us who is absorbed gets his survival gets restricted only to the living parts of the one who absorbs. He exists nowhere else. Adam: Hey, wait, I didnt get this..you mean if I absorb you in, you will die if I die? Is it? Evil: Yes, it is. You must now choose soon. Decide the fate for me. We have got no time. Eve: What! Why is that? What makes us run out of time? Good hasnt even arrived yet. Evil: It makes no difference. You can decide for me at least - set me free or absorb me in.

Making delay in your actions can cost us dearly. It can have dire consequences for the whole of this world. We cant afford to put this marvellous creation of God in any jeopardy. You get that. Eve: (looking up in the air) Oh Almighty.what do we do??? (turning towards Evil) Okay Evil, I understand. We will be quick, but before that, I think me and Adam need to get into a talk to discuss a bit over this critical matter. Evil: Oh yes, but be quick. You know about the threat dawdling around. Eve: Yeah. (walking some distance away from Evil along with Adam and then turning to Adam) What do we do with him? Adam: What is there to think so much? We cant set him free. After all he is Evil. He will fill this virtuous, noble and pristine world with evils. Immorality, sin, crimes will sprout. Hell would be better than this world. Humans will bathe in humans blood. Lust, greed, anger would have no bounds. The whole of the humanity will curse us. Heaven would pity us. Hell would feel fortunate to be what it is. Even God would never dare to start off with a new world again. He would regret forever, for choosing we two to initiate the commencement of his brilliant creation. We humans will lose the title of The Most Intelligent Species of The World. And heres is the moment to prove ourselves intelligent. Eve: So, we wont set him free. Adam: Any doubt over it? Eve: But who will absorb him in? Would it make any difference if the one who absorbs him in, is you or meHow do we know? Ask him? Adam: Eve, he is Evil. Can you afford to trust him? Evil: (intervenes) And one more directive from God..I forgot. Eve: (flinched in shock) Uhh! What? What was it?

Evil: A directive which helps you choose the person who should be the absorber. The person who absorbs in, should have some resemblance with the one who is absorbed in. Thats what God said to me. Adam: (to Evil) OhThank .Thank You! (turning to Eve) Now that makes me wary. Did he know what we were talking about? How could he? Eve: He does not know what we are talking. Thats a coincidence dear. Adam: Better it be.Oh! So, is his clue of any use to us? ........Ponder. {After lots of pondering} Eve: I am going to absorb him in. Adam: Huh.What! You will absorb him in..Why do you think so? Eve: Because I think I have probably hit upon the only existing resemblance between this Evil and me. Adam: What did you get? Eve: Just check out our names. Dont Evil and Eve sound similar? Adam: Just that! You call it a resemblance. Thats not the resemblance God was talking about. How could it be? Eve: So in this case, can you bring to light a better resemblance? Adam: I cannot think of. I need some time. Eve: We have got no time. Forgot what he said? ....... And one more, even my hairs are almost as long as him. Adam: You call these resemblances! How can these frivolous instances be the ones that God was.. (interrupted in between) Eve: Darling we are running out of time. We must act now..based on whatever conclusions we have reached upon..we must act now, you understand? If only I have

been able to figure out the resemblances then these, although trivial, are worth giving careful attention. Adam: Okay! Okay! I see. So you are resolute you will absorb him in? Think again. Eve: I am. I will. I will do it. {Both approach Evil} Eve: I have decided to absorb you in. Evil: You are sure you want to do it. Eve: Damn sure.tell me how do I do it? Evil: By the way, what have you thought for Good? Eve: Why do you ask that? Evil: Because if you choose to free him, you can exercise your choice for him right now even before his arrival.I mean you can exercise both choices at once. Eve: Yeah, I really wanted to set him free. You mean I can absorb you in and set him free in one shoteven before he arrives? Evil: I mean exactly the same. Eve: How do I do that? Evil: (taking out an orb) Put your hand over it and say Evil go Good Good aloud. Eve: Is it that easy? Would doing this definitely get you into me and set Good free? Evil: Oh Yes! It willPlease dont doubt. We need to be quick. Eve: (aloud-with her hand over the godly orb) EVIL GO GOOD GOOD !!!! {Evil disappears. Good never shows up. Adam and Eve start believing that they have assimilated Good in whole of the world before he could turn up and thats why he didnt turn up.}

SCENE 3
{This scene opens up in 21st century. Evil effects have shot up too high. After forty thousand years since Adam and Eve put their foot on earth, God has arranged a talk between the souls of Adam and Eve and Evil. Souls of Adam and Eve are waiting. Evil is to arrive} Eve soul: Adam look!!! Whats going on down there? Humans have forgotten humanity. Evil seems to be more dominant over humans bodies than their souls themselves. Are these the creations that God felt so glorious and jubilant about? Are these the ones whose ancestors we are? I doubt the statement declaring humans to be the most intelligent species of this world ...Oh Adam! I will die of drowning in this ocean of shameAdam! How did it happen? Evil died when I died. How can he be there now? ..........embedded with the soul in every human bodyor this is a mysterious dream.Oh Adam, I feel so infirm. Adams soul: Eve, get back to your senses dear. You are the great Eve, mother of the human race. Muster up your courage. We have got God above all..even above the evil. Believe in God. Surrender yourself to God. God will. (interrupted) Evil: (entering) Ha Ha!!! None of you is dreaming. Whatever you see is real and genuine. This is the 21st century, over every grain of which I have my reign. Cant believe it? I will make you believe. Eves soul: (bursting out) How can you be a part of this world today? You left this world with me. This is what you said. Or did you lie? Tell meyou got to tell me. Evil: Calm down Eve! You will know everything today. This day has been scheduled by God to unveil the truth to you. I will narrate you every small element of my glorious journey towards success. Forty thousand years ago when God sent us to you, he had instructed us to answer only the first five of your questions correctly..the others answers depended on our will. You remember what did you ask that day? Never mind. I do. I will help you refresh your memory. First question came from Adam to me was.Who are you? Then, the second onewhats your purpose? The third ......Who is Good? ........the fourth.. What are you and Eve supposed to do so as to cooperate me? ..and through the last question

you tried to understand in a better way, what did it mean to absorb us in or to set us free. I answered all these five questions correctly. And it was in the answer of the fifth question, the last one, that I said But the one of us who is absorbed gets his survival gets restricted only to the living parts of the one who absorbs. He exists nowhere else. ...you remember that? Eves soul: (infuriated) I do. I do. I remember it better than you. So you didnt answer the fifth question correctly. You liar, you cheat, you EVIL. You violated Gods decrees. You will (interuppted) Evil: Oh Eve, poor Eve. I fear you are wrong. Do not unleash your anger. That makes you go insane. That makes you draw wrong conclusions. Eves soul: How am I wrong? Tell me. Evil: I will. Thats why I am here today. Look, I said the one of us who is absorbed gets his survival gets restricted only to the living parts of the one who absorbs. He exists nowhere else. So how do I survive today? Why didnt I end with you death? Eves soul: You tell me! Evil: It was because there always existed a part of yours that did not die. And I continued to exist in it. Eves soul: How can that be possible? When I died, whole of me was dead. How could any part of me remain alive? Evil: Okay, seems that I am getting on your nerves. Okay, no fooling around. Everyone of this six billion population that exists today, has a living part of you in him or her. You forgot the genes you transferred. Werent these a part of your body. And these dont die. What do you say now? (laughs) Eves soul: (turning dismal) Oh! I didnt see it.(after a few moments-rising up) But I remember Adam asked you, whether you will die once Adam dies if he had absorbed you in. And you replied in affirmative. Evil: Yeah I lied, because it was the sixth question. God had instructed me to answer correctly the first five questions. We could answer the rest of the questions the way we wished. And I answered it the way it benefited me. Got it, Eve? I played fair and square.

And there is more to come. I lied to you both that if you dont make your choices soon, the world would finish. Guess why? Eves soul: I cannot. Evil: No problem. DO NOT FEAR EVIL IS HERE I lied so as to make you exercise your choices as early as possible. I did so because I feared the arrival of Good. Had he arrived, he could have told you the truth and that would have ruined my plans. And the hint that I gave to you, stating that the one who absorbs in should have some resemblance to the one he or she absorbs in, that too was a lie. That was to make Eve absorb me in. I knew both of you cared for the humanity and would definitely choose to absorb me in, rather than set me free. Either Adam had absorbed me in or Eve, in both cases I would have survived because the human population today has living components of both of you, I mean the genes. But it was much more favourable for me to be absorbed in by Eve. I know you cant guess why. So let me reveal this too. Believe me, this gives me no pain. A chance for narrating my splendid success story is a thing that I would die for..Oh! Sorry, I got off the track. I survived through an offspring of you two, but since I was absorbed in by Eve, that offspring that helped me survive grew in an evil filled womb for nine monthsfull nine months. I would have been weaker if Adam would have absorbed me in because then, the resulting offspring would have grown in an evil free womb. In this way, I have my reign inside the humans and Good is inside the other elements of nature. Its obvious. It is humans who disturb the fabric of nature.go against the nature. It is the human race that is now the threat to nature, not any other species. All other elements of nature seem to work in a perfect harmony, but not humans. Thats because I remained in humans and Good got mingled with other elements of nature. Adams soul: (gloomily) How are humans against nature? Evil: Its not difficult to see. Take for instance a tiger. He kills only to fight his hunger and to survive. But humans go on killing for nothing. They seem to possess a lust for killing, to wipe out every creature from this world. They dare to challenge the nature and pay dearly. But they dont stop. Human greed has no limits. This inhumanity of humans is a

testament to my power, my influence, the vastness of my domain. It is because me, the Great Evil that has every human as his abode. Despite of your efforts and love for the human race, I rule the roost. Still any doubts? Adams soul: And why didnt Good reach us earlier than you? Did it involve a transgression by you? Evil: Truly speaking, not a transgression by me but maybe by the God himself. This world that God has created has a critical property. In this world, evil effects propagate much faster than effects of goodness. Take fire. The rate at which fire burns a thing is much higher than the rate at which the thing got created. A building collapses in seconds and it takes days to erect it.Oh numerous examples. Thats why Evil travels faster than Good, much much faster..So, I too believe that there really had been a transgression, but committed by the God, not me {Adam and Eve turn silent and gloomy. Evil stares them hard and long with victory and vanity in his eyes} Evil: So, no more questions, really are there no more? Why would there be? Now, even I think that all your questions have been answered. Time to depart!!! DO NOT FEAR EVIL IS HERE EVIL IS HERE EVIL IS EVERYWHERE..Ha Ha Ha!!! (Evil exits leaving Adam and Eve lamenting.)
