Ahmed eid

Text;
Bismillahi rahmani Raheem -( In the name of Allah the Rahmaan and the Raheem) These two names will be explained below inshallah. Allah

Explanation;
The Shaykh started his book with the basmallah; 1) Copying the book of Allah as all the surahs begin with basmallah except taubah 2) copying the Sunnah of the prophet sall allahu alayhi wasalam 3) Seeking from the names of Allah in it 4) Seeking help from Allah This name means the one who deserves to be worshipped; the name comes from the term alilah the god. This name cannot be given to anyone else because the attribute it necessitates of being the one who deserves to be worshipped is not shared by anyone else. This name Means the one whose mercy reaches the entire creation; warahmati wasicat kulli shay. And it cannot be given to anyone else because no one else shares this attribute of Allah of Him of having His mercy reach all the creation. And there is an example in history of someone who took that name and Allah changed it for a bad name; his name was musaylima and he called himself ar-rahman al yamama (the rahman of yamama- his town) and Allah changed it to musaylimal kathaab (literally musaylima the liar) because he was a liar as he claimed to be something he was not a rahman and on top of that he also claimed to be a prophet may Allah curse him.. The one whose mercy reaches a group of people. Another person can be called Raheem because

Raheem

Ilam- (Know)

Rahimakallah-(May Allah have mercy on you)

Anahu yajibu alaynaa (that it is obligatory on us) Talammu arba masaail-(To have knowledge if four matters)

this is an attribute which can be shared by the creation bil muimimeena raofun raheem. Fiil amr li tanbihil mukadab a verb of command used to alert the reader to the importance of the information which will be presented. 1) Dua showing his mercy to the students and this is from the 2) Guidance of the prophet sall allahu alayhi wasalam as the prophet used to make Dua for entire groups of people and for individuals. Allahuma ahdi dosan and Allahuma faqihu fe deen, this is the Dua he made for Abdullah ibn Abbas This is an address to all of the Muslims, all of the people of eemaan

1) To have knowledge of something is to completely comprehend it from all angles, it does not mean to understand part of it. So the Shaykh wants you to know and comprehend these four matters with a full and complete comprehension. 2) This is from good authorship of the Shaykh to number things so the student can follow along Ilm (Knowledge) is of 2 types Al owlaa al ilmu 1) Fard ayn wahuwa- (The first is 2) Fard Kifaaya knowledge and it is...) Awareness of Allah can be summarized into Macrifatullahithe following four matters; (Awareness of Allah) 1) Al ilm bi wujoodih In his existence 2) Al eemaan bi ruboobiyatihi- In his lordship (his actions) 3) His right to worship alone 4) And his beautiful names and attributes

Macrifatu nabiyihi(Awareness of His Prophet)

We can summarize Awareness or Knowledge of the Prophet sall allahu alayhi wasalam into three categories 1) Knowing him as a person. He is Muhammad ibn Abdul-Muttalib ibn Haashim and his character. 2) Knowledge of his rights upon you and from them is i) Loving him more than one loves himself, his wealth, his parents and even his children, ii) Loving what the prophet sall allahu alayhi wasalam came with in general (loving the religion generally) and specifically (every part of it that you know about and not to love some and hate some). iii) Obeying him in everything that he command, iii) Staying away from everything that the Prophet sall allahu alayhi wasalam prohibited from false statements, actions 4) Allah is not be worshipped except what is found in the Messenger of Allah (sall allahu alayhi wasalam) 5) Believing in everything that he informed of. Since he does not speak form his desires. 3) Knowledge of his message that will suffice you in your day to day affairs. You should know your religion with proofs. Specifically you have to know the basics of your aqeedah. Such as your knowledge of Allah and your knowledge of your prophet with its proofs. And this is all from learning your religion with proofs. Your religion shouldnt be I am a Muslim because my parents are Muslim. You should be Muslim because you want to be. Your situation shouldnt be ina wajadnaa abaana ala ummatin wa

ina ala atharihim muqtadoon we found our forefathers on a way and we are following them. This is taqleed. And taqleed is; itibao man laysa bi xujjatun bi ghayri xujjah. Someone said and my father said isnt proof, on yowm al qiyama(teh day of judgement it is not proof for someone to say: my father said, my teacher said, you will not be asked what did your imam say you will be asked mataa ajabtumul mursaleen. And to act upon that. Wal camulu bihi Knowledge is learnt to be acted upon. And Allah has said ya ayuhalatheena amanoo limat tagollona ma la tafcaloon and Allah criticised the people of the book for ordering the people to do good and not doing it themselves, and also the hadeeth of bukhari and Muslim of the man who was seen dragging his intestines around the hellfire, and the people will ask him; Didnt you And to call to it. And some of the conditions for Wad dacwatu ilayh the person giving dawa is that an yakuna caliman bima yumar wabima yanha is that he has knowledge of that which he is enjoining and forbidding. This does not mean h has to be an aalim, it simply that which he is feeling the people to do and he understands the issue completely with its proofs and that which he is prohibiting. But he shouldnt speak without knowledge, if he doesnt know then he should say so and not speak without knowledge. Wasabru alal atha fih Sabr; xasbu nafsi ala ma takrah Xasbu nafsi anil tasakuti bil galb wa tushakii bil lisaan ow il jawaarix wa taxamulil balaa To withhold the soul from feeling displeasure in the heart or the limbs and to be accept the

difficulty. Doesnt include crying Read it. -Allah swore by creation. Allah can swear by whichever of his creation he wishes and himself, walayli, wal asr, wa wa walidin wama walad. We however are not allowed to swear by anything except Allah. The prophet sall allahu alyhi wasallam said; man kaana xalifan fal yaxlif billahi ow li yasmut and man xalafa bi ghayrillah fagad ashrak. Some of the ulamah of tafseer it means salatul asr and others said it means generality of asr, and this includes time of asr.
