Preface Praise and thank writer pray to Allah SWT for blessing and grace, so I can finish writing this paper, entitled Effects of The Cheating Habit On Students's Report score of Senior High School One Baleendah ". Writer choose this title because recenly many students are cheating at the test to get the maximum value in Reports in order to get good rank in class. Writing of this paper to fulfill English schools practical

examination. The writer is aware that in writing this paper is far from perfect and there are still many mistakes. It is not only in the presentation of materials,but also in processing the data and for solving problem.

There are many other shortcomings caused by lack of knowledge, skills and experience of writer. Because the writer is still in the learning stage, therefore, writer welcome any suggestions and criticisms from the readers. In making this paper writer hope that this paper is useful, especially for personal writer, and generally for people who have helped writer to finish it. Baleendah, February 2012

CHAPTER I INTRODUCTION 1. Background of The Study One of an important part in an educational process at school, is an evaluation, the activity that measures the success of the learning process. There are still students who consider the evaluation of daily tests, the general, national school exam until the final exam is a problem for them. This happens because there are some students who have lack of discipline in their habitual study. However they should truly independent in doing and answering the questions. Because of their unpreparedness of facing a wide range of tests, then there are still some students who cheat in exams, and there are two possible risult, namely to increase the value of their Reports so that students get a good rank in the class or the value decrease due to their cheating to wrong answers. According to the facts above, researchers evaluate the possibility that occurs on the results of cheating students, especially towards to the acquisition of student Reports. From this is the background for more in-depth research on the effects of the habit of

cheating on students' Reports grades Senior High School One Baleendah. 2. The Research Questions 1. What factors underlying the behavior of cheating? 2. What are the usual way by students to cheat? 3. What lessons as test, students cheat? 4. Does cheating affect grades in Reports? 3. The Purpose of The Study 1. Know the factors underlying the behavior of cheating. 2. Knowing the usual way by the students for cheating 3. Knowing What lessons held during the test, students are cheating 4. Knowing the effect of cheating on grades in rapport 4. methodology 1. Types of Research Research is the process of discovery of truth is described in the form of a systematic and planned activities with based on scientific method. This research includes descriptive type of research because it gives description of the research results published in an analysis related to the research results but did not forget to include data's numeric. 2. Object of Research

The object this research is the implementation of the effect the habit of cheating on the grades of Report in senior high school students one Baleendah, R.A.A Wiranatakusumah street No.30

Baleendah Bandung districts. 3. Data Collection a. Primary Data Primary data is collected data directly through the object of research, that is by spreading the questionnaire research to some students in Senior High School One Baleendah. b. Secondary Data Secondary data is data that has been collected the other hand, in this case the form of data obtained from some examples of existing research on the internet.

Data collection methods used in gathering as follows: a. Observation Observation is the gathering of data by research directly to the object of research b. documentation Documentation is the gathering of data by requesting data that existed before. 4. methods of analysis

To analyze this problem used the descriptive method, the results of research and analysis are described in scientific literature in the form of a narrative but equipped with numeric data, then the

CHAPTER II LITERATURE REVIEW

A. Definition of Attitude 1. According to Big Indonesian Dictionary attitude is "deeds and so is based on the establishment of manners in English is called Attitude is everything a that reacts to a stimulus. 2. In the narrow sense of the views or attitude is a mental tendency. According to Bruno (1987),attitude(Attitude) is a relatively permanent inclination to respond in a good way or bad effect on people or goods.

B. The Definition of Cheating 1. Cheating or plagiarizing or ngepek according to Indonesian Dictionary written by WJS Purwadarminta is copying, imitating, or quote the post, the work of others as the original. 2. According to Deighton (1971), cheating is the effort made for someone to get success in ways that were unfair (dishonest).

Cheating is an act or ways that are dishonest, fraudulent, and justifies any means to achieve the best values in the test or exam on each subject. C. Definition of the value

1. Woods Suggests that the value is a general guide that has lasted a long time and direct behavior and satisfaction in daily life 2. Hendropuspito Returns the value is anything that the public appreciated because it has a functional usability for the development of human life.

Value is something valuable, quality, show quality, and useful to humans. Something that means something worth is valuable or useful for human life.

CHAPTER III METHODOLOGY

Methodology The study was undertaken in a way to acquire and process data collected from respondents. In this matter writer take a qualitative methodological approach, which describes an actual state of subjekf in our study. The research variables described as follows: A. The research variables The main variable 1. Cheating habits Effect 2. Acquisition value of Reports B. PopUlation Senior High School One Baleendah 's 1 population is located in Baleendah Road RAA Wiranatakusumah Baleendah No.30 Bandung District. C. samples The sample used is a simple random, involving 25 25 students class XII science and 25 students class XII science and D. The sampling technique The sampling technique used was simple random sampling technique because students have the same characteristics.

E. Data Collection Technical

To produce a good report, to be reviewed by the data and the fact that complete information. Therefore this study used data collection techniques as follows: 1. Questionnaire is the examination of a thing which is a common interest, usually done by spreading a letter filled with questions and research objects. 2. Documentation study data that is received from the guide books or data from the internet. F. Location and Technical research 1. Study site is located at SMAN 1 Baleendah No.30 Road RAA Wiranatakusumah Baleendah Bandung District. 2. Research time on 21 December 2011 until 27 December 2011.

CHAPTER IV FINDING AND DISCUSSION

From the result the writer obtained data, will be described as follows: effects of the habit of cheating on students' Reports grades Senior High School One Baleendah. A. Discussion of data analysis techniques 1. Calculation of data by Talling Technique The data still form the answer sheets of the respondents is calculated one by one. Each choice is one answer is marked with line perpendicular and it is inserted into the table. Every time finding an answer, and then made straight (tally) according to the group.

2. Calculation of the frequency response of each answer choice After all the questions checked and each answer choice is marked with a stake, then summed stake. Finally it will be found the frequency of each answer choice.

3. Processing of data by finding the percentage of answers Until the second step above, researchers have received the raw data results of questionnaires. So that the raw data can be

interpreted, then the process of further research with a formula to find the percentage of each answer appears. The Formula Used is:

X = F x 100 % N

Description: X = the percentage who is searched F = frequency response N = total number of respondents

Based on the results of research students in Senior High School One Baleendah majority of female students who cheat, the results are shown in the table below. The sex of the respondent Male Female F 29 31 % 58 42

B. Recommendation 1. Advice for students Do not be a repeat of a scary thing, so encourage you to commit fraud in obtaining the maximum value in the Reports. But to obtain these values we have to be efficient in the use of study time at school and at home. So that when we face the test, we are ready to do it.

2. Advice for teachers Good teachers can more strict monitor the implementation of both replicates of daily tests to exam schools nationwide. In addition teachers also must improve the way of teaching so that students more easily understand the lessons presented and teachers must develop an attitude of confidence in students so that when the test students feel confident with their abilities. 3. Advice for schools In anticipation of cheating, including the school emphasizes character education, especially the character of an honest, fitting CCTV cameras on each classroom and a table of students who used nothing under the table. So the problem of cheating can be avoided
