Hazrat Adul Qadir Jilani ra (Gauth-al-Azam) in their own words describe these he irs of the Prophets as follows; "In

relation to ordinary people, the friends of Allah (awliya ullah) are, deaf,du mb, and blind(summun bukmun umyun). Since their hearts are near to the Lord of T ruth (Amighty and Glorious is He), they listen to no one but Him and they see no one but Him. Nearness (qurb) gives them refuge, reverence (haiba) gives them co ver, and love gives them benifits in the presence of their Beloved. For they are between the Majesty (jalal) and the Beauty (jamal) ( of their Lord), inclining neither to the right nor tot the left. They have "forwards" (amam) without a "ba ckwards" (wara). They are waited upon by humankind,by jinn,by angels and all man nner of creatures. They are served wisdom and knowledge. They are fed by graciou s favour, and their thirst is quenched by friendly kindness. Of food of His grac ious favour do they eat, and of the juice of His friendly kindness do they drink . They have better things to do than listen to popular conversation, for they an d ordinary people are worlds apart(... they are one valley, and ordinary people are in another valley). They order the people to obey the commandments and prohi bitions of Allah (Almighty and Glorious is He), deputizing for the Prophet (Alla h bless Him and grant Him peace). They are in fact His heirs. Their occupation is bringing people back to the door of the Lord of Truth (Almig hty and Glorious is He), proving His case against them. They put things in their proper places, giving everyone the favour he deserves. They do not claim their rights (huquq), and they do not satisfy their selfish desires(nufus) and natural instincts (tiba). They love for the sake of Allah (Almighty and Glorious is He) and they hate for the sake of Allah (Almighty and Glorious is He). They are who lly His; none other than He has any share in them. When somone has achieved this completely, Friendship (suhba) is complete for him and he attains salvation and success. He is loved by humankind, by jinn and the angels, by the earth and by the heaven." So in order to gain this title which is given to you by Allah and His Beloved Ra sool to carry out the revitalising of the deen and bringing prople back to the L ord of Truth Almighy and Glorious is He. What I think we all need to do is conqo ur our nafs, destroy it completly until your only desire is for the Lord of Trut h, this in itself is a momentous task but it can be done with much perserverence as demonstarted by the Awliya and Wali ullah Ikram, our Spiritual Guides. Firs t you must follow before you can lead, be servant and obey in order to become a master and guide those to the commands of the Lord of Truth. I pray for all of us respected and much loved brothers and sisters that Allah gr ants us a fraction of His favour and mercy
