What is a Wiki? Wikis are pages that many people can edit. They have easy shortcut words that you can use when typing to create new pages. CAF is a wiki, so anyone can start a new page for a new project.

Blogging There are many free blogging platforms that you can sign up to. The most popular are: Blogger: http://www.blogger.com/home?pli=1 Wordpress: http://wordpress.com/ When you look for Wordpress, there are two possible options.

Wordpress.com is for blogs that are hosted by Wordpress. For these, you dont need to do anything technical. You just need an email address to sign up, and web access to get to your blog. Wordpress.org allows you to download and install your own blog, on your own server. This is the more advanced option. For most projects, Wordpress.com is flexible enough.

How to use Wordpress Once you have a Wordpress account, you can have multiple blogs. Blog is short for web log. A blog is a website that has journal-like posts in chronological order. But blogs are being used more and more as regular websites.
