MUSLCE CONTRACTION Endorphins- natural opiates release in response to pain and exercise. Agonists- excite by mimicking a particular neurotransmitter and blocking reuptake. Antagonists- blocking neurotransmitters or diminishing their release. Blood brain barrier- brain to fence of unwanted chemicals circulation.
