e-WOOF is a bi-monthly e-newsletter produced by a small group of Wyoming dog rescuers in an effort to highlight shelter dogs in critical need of help. e-WOOF spotlights many dogs that face euthanasia within days unless they are rescued, fostered, or adopted.
Transport can be arranged, in most cases, to approved adoptive or foster homes or rescue organizations. Please help us! These are good, healthy, happy, loving dogs that are out of luck and out of time. We urge you to crosspost to email lists and Web groups, forward to friends, send to co-workers, and share with family. We hope our efforts, combined with yours, will save many lives.

URGENT - Casper, WY Contact: Cathy Corbin at 307-267-6524 or rescuerangers2@yahoo.com BOONE is a Black and Tan Coonhound, 2 years old. He is a good looking dog who likes people and other dogs. He is very playful with other dogs, enjoys a walk, and enjoys sniffing. His coloring is very handsome! He is looking for a new home and a new family! CINNAMON is a Lab mix, 6 months old. Cinnamon is housebroken, enjoys car rides, is used to living inside, and living outside. He enjoys going for walks and jogs. He likes people and other dogs. Just like his name, Cinnamon is a gorgeous, deep reddish brown color. His rugged good looks often make people do a double-take. He is hoping for a second chance in life! BOONE

BABY GIRL is a Chocolate Lab mix, 7 months old. She likes people, other dogs, and cats. She is housebroken, enjoys car rides, walks, tennis balls, and playing fetch. She is friendly and enjoys having someone pet her. Baby Girl would like to have a new family to love her and give her a forever home! EL CAJON is a Boxer mix, 3 years old. This guy has it all - beautiful, dark, rich, deep red fur, and dark eyes--very good looking! He likes people and other dogs. El Cajon enjoys his walks! He is a friendly guy who would like to have a forever home where he is loved!

markings. I like other dogs but should not go to a home with cats. I like my toys, going for walks, and riding in cars. At home I am easy going and relaxed but I have a lot of get up and go, too. Id love a home where I could be taken on adventures. ____________

Park County Animal Shelter -- Cody, WY Contact: 307-587-5110 or manager@parkcountyanimalshelter.com PLEASE NOTE: Sweet Baloo is a 2-3 year old male Lab/Terrier mix. He came to us as a stray, and was nearly half frozen when his rescuers found him. He was recently adopted out then was brought back because his adopters felt he was too shy. This surprised our staff because when he is here with us he is such a lover! He loves to cuddle and thinks he is a lap dog. He loves to lay across your lap or sit with his head on your knee. He just takes a little while to warm up to someone but once he does he is your best friend. All he needs is some love and patience. He has quickly stolen the hearts of all of the staff. We often bring him to the office during the days because of his calm and loving demeanor. He seems to get along well with most other dogs and would be great in a home with another dog. It might comfort him to have the companionship of a fellow pooch! He would be a great addition to any family. DRACO is a 1 year old male Border Collie mix. He is very sweet with people of all ages and he is extremely smart. He is well behaved and listens very well to commands. He gets along fine with cats; Draco just doesnt like other dogs. He is another one of our favorite office dogs because he loves nothing more than to lay at your feet while you work. He is very calm when he is inside. Draco would be a great dog for any family with a single dog household! HONEY is as sweet as her name! This lovely girl came to us as
a stray. She is a 4 year old Mastiff mix and she loves to play! She enjoys going for walks and is crazy about playing with stuffed animals. She likes to play tug-of-war and would be a great companion for an older child who would play with her. Her enthusiasm might be a little overwhelming for younger children. She would also be best in a home without cats. Honey gets along with some dogs; it would be advised that the dogs meet prior to her adoption. Honey is a little bit weary of men at first but is pretty quick to warm up to them. ____________

Time is of the essence for helping the dogs featured in the e-WOOF newsletters. Please contact the name/numbers for each dog before contacting eWOOF. In most cases, time is limited for the dogs featured in our newsletters--with that in mind, we try to get the word out to as many contacts as we can using this publication. Work on behalf of the animals for finding them homes and/ or rescues comes from many, many sources and is an ONGOING effort dealt with a sense of urgency. In some cases there may be times when a sudden adoption and/or rescue comes through at the exact time our newsletter is issued. This is an unforeseen circumstance on our part--while we certainly understand the crossover may cause frustrations for you as the prospective adopter of an animal we hope you join us in rejoicing for an animal being saved. The Dog and Cat Shelter, Inc. -- Sheridan, WY Contact: 307-674-7694 or Cel at dogncat@fiberpipe.net FAITH is a three-year-old female German shepherd from American show lines. She has been in several different homes due to various circumstances and now needs a permanent, stable home. She will likely need to be an only dog due to some previous issues with other dogs in her home. She is quite stressed at the shelter, but is sweet, gentle, and scared of cats. Her last home reported that she was urinating in the home, likely due to fear or nerves, but a new owner needs to be aware of this and willing to be patient with her. She is spayed and current on shots. ____________
